I am out of shape over weight previous athlete. Though the glory days are long ago, I have decided to start to get back in shape. After a few rides, I new I needed some help with equipment and knowledge.
I drove into Scranton, found Cedar Bike Shop, and with in seconds, I felt like the most important customer in the world. Not only did Trevor, ask for him by name, diagnose my problem just by listening to me, once he began the repair, he showed me exactly he was talking about. I had absolute trust in his advice and opinion.
Even when he could have been blunt, he handled my experience level with the poise of a seasoned politician. * Not to get into it in detail, he helped me realize I had some work to do before I could consider myself an intermediate rider.
Normally, you can not tell me the sky is blue. I stubborn, and I tend to think I know what is going on even when I do lot stay at a holiday Inn express.
I will be a loyal customer and will be happy to spend my money with Trevor and Cedar Bike as long as I can keep my motivation to keep pedaling and getting on my bike.

I bought both of my bikes from cedar. A little more pricey than online — but, you are supporting a local, small business. The employees are usually quick with repairs and a pleasure to do business with.

Cedar Bike provides the widest selection of bikes, bike parts, and bike wear in Scranton. They also have the ability to do just about any repair you can’t do yourself.
I shop at Cedar Bike because they usually have what I need. Being the only full-​service bicycle shop in town, the prices they offer are often outrageously high. For this reason I try to purchase online when I can.
Depending on who is working, the customer service is satisfactory. Some of the workers can be rude, however.
Definitely give Cedar a try! They also offer free air if you need it…

Out of the two stores i shop here more, only because it is closer to my house. and i now live probably less than a mile away, so there will be a few rides there to pick something up every now and then this summer. shop here, they are great and super nice. they carry a good selection of bikes and company. i also use to buy skateboards here back in the day. great LBS.
