I just visited their website and it appears they are closing down their AZ office. :(:(

Vegan Lunchbox is amazing! They deliver vegan lunches to your home, office or school. It’s expensive(I paid $ 99.00, but received a student discount). I think the regular price is $ 120.00, but keep in mind everything is homemade vegan and they deliver it right to your door in a cute reusable bag with plastic wear and containers. The owner, Leyla, is adorable and you can tell she puts so much love and effort into every meal she makes. I ordered the week long fresh service delivery and got 5 meals. I had: Monday Avocado Bacon Burger, Oven Roasted Potato Wedges(check out the cute ketchup container!) and a Chocolate Chip Walnut Brownie. Tuesday Mushroom and Broccoli Quiche, Hummus Dip with Pita and Chocolate Fudge Cake. Wednesday Spaghetti Marinara with Mushrooms, Baba Ganoush Dip with Pita and a Chocolate Drop Cookie. Thursday BBQ Portabello Steak(actually a portabello mushroom cap), Baked Potato fully loaded(non-dairy butter, non-dairy sour cream, non-dairy cheese, green onions and tempha bacon bits), Walnut Brownie. Friday Linguine Carbonara, Potato Salad and a Brownie. Everything was really good, but my favorites were the Avocado Bacon Burger, Hummus Dip with Pita, BBQ Portabello Steak, Baked Potato fully loaded and the Walnut Brownie. I highly recommend Vegan Lunchbox. It’s healthy and fresh. I would love to do it again and try more items from the menu. The portions were very big. I ended up eating half for lunch and the other half for dinner. Check it out:

The Vegan Lunchbox is the best thing to happen to Vegans in Phoenix. and Scottsdale. and Tempe. and Mesa. Well, pretty much the whole state of Arizona. Vegan Lunchbox is a homemade vegan delivery service that has literally changed my life. Leyla is so incredibly sweet and she has an amazing story centered around frustrations over lunch options for vegans. She took her frustration and turned it into an incredible business idea! In addition to the extremely friendly service and incredible food, Vegan Lunchbox is also incredibly computer literate. Their website is very user friendly, and they already have a twitter and Facebook in which they share a variety of health and animal facts. Follow them at
There are three options: Weekly fresh service, weekly frozen service, Monthly fresh service, and monthly frozen service. I went with the weekly fresh service and am delighted each day when Leyla shows up with a freshly made vegan lunch of my choosing at 11:15am. Last week I had: Monday Main: Sweet and Sour«Pork» on White Rice Side: Stir-Fry Vegetables Dessert: Chocolate fudge cake Tuesday Main: Avocado«Bacon» Burger on Wheat Bun Side: Opa’s German Potato Salad Veganized Dessert: Oma’s Coleslaw Veganized Wednesday Main: Spaghetti Bolognaise Side: Side salad Homemade Creamy Garlic Dressing Dessert: Raw chocolate pudding Thursday Main: «Beef» Shawarma plate Side: Hummus Dessert: Basboussa(Semolina cake) Friday Main: Toasted Macadamia Ginger«Chicken» Side: Baked Potato Loaded Dessert: Brownie with chocolate chip and walnuts I have to say, I loved everything, but the chart toppers for me were the homemade bacon burger, the potato salad, and the brownie. Some people think of being vegan as an inconvenience or a nuisance, but The Vegan Lunchbox and I agree that being vegan is a luxury, and it sure shines through in the AMAZING vegan creations! Give them a try… and you won’t turn back!
