History

Established in 1996.

Over the years, we have sold just about every kind of real estate. We’ve sold churches, office buildings, a ten acre ranch with 99 boarded horses, four acres on top of Mummy Mountain, a mobile home in Apache Junction and a wedding venue west of Jackrabbit Road.

But mostly we’ve sold over 5,000 homes — new homes, used homes, remodeled homes, fixer-​uppers, horse properties, golf-​front residences, luxury estates, condos, and houses of all ages, shapes and sizes. Once asked «What is your specialty?», JoAnn Callaway responded «We specialize in relationships. We help the mother or the son or the uncle and next thing you know, we are working with the whole family.».

Originally from Decatur, IL (farm country), Joseph and JoAnn Callaway arrived in Arizona in 1979. It was heaven. They loved the weather and the people. Because Arizona is such a destination, most residents are here by choice. «It’s a happy place.» says Joseph.

Fresh off a stint as rare book dealers, Joseph and JoAnn became licensed REALTORS in 1996. Within a year, Those Callaways were eleven strong including daughter Kelly. Today the team includes 25 licensees, including third-​generation grandson Joe Coleman, who recently became a broker. «It’s a family affair.» says Donna Higgins, an original team member. «We’ve all grown up together. So many clients today were catching the school bus when their parents first bought or sold with us.»
