History

Established in 2012.

Dr. William Duncan Silkworth pioneered the successful treatment of alcoholism in the 1930s. Dr. Silkworth, «the little doctor who loved drunks,» helped thousands of alcoholics in Towns Hospital, NY and was instrumental in the foundation of Alcoholics Anonymous.
