John Burgess started his career at Family & Children’s Center, an agency that provides a continuum of human services in western Wisconsin and southeastern Minnesota. He ultimately served as its president/CEO for 19 years. His innovative vision led the agency to help thousands of area families and individuals enjoy a greater sense of well-being in their homes and communities. Before beginning, his career, John earned a bachelor’s degree in social work and psychology from the University of Maryland, and a master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin.
