Over the course of my lifetime, I have tried many forms of exercise. This is the first time I have truly loved it! I look forward to going several times a week and feel even better when I finish a class. My balance and flexibility have improved in just a few months. And I truly love the fun and accepting social atmosphere. This is a great place to address so many things– health, well-being, peace of mind, and community. The Taoist Tai Chi Society is a non-profit society dedicated to sharing the health benefits that the practice of tai chi can bring. With locations in South Scottsdale, Flagstaff and now Tucson, and beginner classes to fit almost any schedule, this meditative exercise is easy to learn and a WONDERFUL way to help your mind, body and spirit I used to have back problems and muscle spasms all the time, through regular practice I have had no more flare ups and have also noticed a big improvement in my right shoulder as well, which used to be VERY painful as well. I love the people that I have met there and anyone, of any age or fitness level can learn the practice of Tai Chi — whether you’re 16 or 86, 100 or 400 pounds, you can benefit from this ancient Chinese secret!
