History
Established in 2005.
Sure Prep Learning was started by David Dodge in a dorm room at the Thunderbird Global School of International Business. Founded on the idea that individualized learning is more effective than the impersonal, «one-size-fits-all» approach used by traditional learning centers, Sure Prep has grown largely by word of mouth and now provides online tutoring to students nationwide and in-person tutoring throughout the Western United States. Sure Prep was named the 8th fastest growing educational company in the US by Inc Magazine, and has helped over 15,000 students improve their standardized test scores and get better grades in school.

David D.
Business Owner
David Dodge is an education entrepreneur who spent nearly a decade as a professional tutor in the United States, Canada, and Latin America. Founding Sure Prep Learning from a dorm room at Thunderbird Global School of International Business in 2005, David has overseen Sure Prep’s growth from a one man company to an organization that employs 25 full-time managers and administrators and over 800 active tutors. When he is not hunched over his computer analyzing effectiveness data, David enjoys playing guitar, hiking, volunteering in youth mentoring organizations, and cooking. In 2012, David founded Prepology Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides free/low cost tutoring, test prep, and college counseling to underprivileged students in the United States.
