Hi my name is Steve Austin. I’ve been in the automotive field for 34 years and with Sun Devil Auto for almost 20. I enjoy working for Sun Devil Auto because of all the relationships I have built with my customers over the years and treat them as if they were my own family.

My favorite kind of vehicle is my trusty Chevy Pick-​up. In my spare time, my wife and I enjoy spending time with our two dogs.

There are 3 things we look for in auto repair 1.) Honesty (don’t try to sell us things we don’t need and fix things that aren’t broken) 2.) Expertise (know what you are doing) 3.) Reasonable Prices — in that order. In our opinion Sun Devil Auto at this location excels in all three. We have been using them for both of our cars for years. Most recently we had to have an older car towed there for a problem that was hard to diagnose. Tony kept us informed every step of the way and we know that what they were telling us was true because the previous owner knew the car very well and agreed. He was very friendly and very professional. Kudos Sun Devil. We were prepared for the worst but you gave us the best.

I had issues with my daughters not starting. Called the shop this morning and they had it fixed by the end of the day without telling me it needed a lot of extra work. Tony has been very helpful and so pleasant to work with. I will go back for any other repairs in the future.

Sun Devil Auto really surprised me. Going in for a quick oil change, the employees were courteous and took my car in right away. They were accommodating and let me pick it up the next day, no questions asked. The fact that they didn’t try to find extra issues to charge me with or push me to spend money was a welcome relief. Usually they find something wrong with my car, and it makes me question if they are trying to rip me off. The oil change was affordable too. I’ll definitely be going back!

I re-​downloaded the app just to compliment the incredible service I received at Sun Devil Auto Center. I had exactly 1−½ hrs to get my oil change before a happy hour for work — including the entire Executive team. I tried 5 locations and they were packed– and the employees were slugs! All telling me that it would take an 2 hours! (It’s 110 degrees in AZ– in month of July) sooo– thankfully I drove down Frank Lloyd Wright– Sun Devil fit me right in– gave me a great rate– and said it would take 30 – 40 min. They were truly a blessing! I’ll be back here for sure. Thanks, Sun Devil!!!

We WERE new customers to Sun Devil. Not anymore.
I was told that we needed a new radiator, after spending $ 650.00, I was back every 2 weeks for it leaking. I got corporate involved.
The situation was corrected.
We also had the power steering pump replaced, well yesterday, it started to leak, brought it to our new repair home. To see the shote job that was done. Air cleaner Hose was shoved in there, clamps were not even positioned correctly.
Couldn’t figure out the AC problem
Kept putting freon in.
Our new repair home, fixed it for us.
No muss, no Fuss.
Do yourself a favor, stay away from Sun Devil

Best place to take your car in scottsdale, hands down. jesse is the best mechanic in the valley, in my opinion. not only is he knowledgeable, but he is honest. what else could you ask for in a mechanic. I have been going to this sun devil for years and will continue to do so for many more to come. any car issues, ask for jesse, you will not be disappointed.

Extremely impressed with both the prices and the quality of service that I had received at Sun Devil Auto. Made an appointment for my Jeep’s first oil change since I bought the vehicle. I had just gotten my tires rotated two days before bringing it in, and was surprised and pleased to hear that they do free tire rotations with every service. Yay for me, now I don’t have to go to two different places for two things that are so simple!
Anyhow, the gentleman who helped me when I walked through the door was kind and pleasant, didn’t try to sell me anything extra or push additional services or products on me (thank goodness, because we all know what happens to women when they walk through the doors of an automotive business), and was knowledgeable about my particular vehicle.
The service itself took about 45 minutes from start to finish, which is comparable to other places, if not quicker. The cost was what really impressed me. I have taken my previous vehicles elsewhere, and been charged in upwards of $ 40 for an oil change, but Sun Devil Auto only charges around $ 22 (I think my Jeep requires an extra quart or something of that nature). After the cost of labor, misc. parts, etc. It came to around $ 28 after tax, which is very competitive. I also took advantage of the Unilocal!check-​in special to utilize an even further discount.
I will definitely continue to take my Jeep to Sun Devil Auto! Great prices, great service, and quality work.

Once again, I had the opportunity to go to Sun Devil Auto. This time, I needed brakes, rotors, and an oil change. Steve and the guys at Sun Devil did the complete job in under 2 hours, and that included picking me up when my car was finished. I knew it would probably be a bit costly, since I needed rotors, too. But Steve found coupons online, and it saved me some dollars. Bottom line, I love this place. I’ve never been happier with an auto shop in 35 years of driving. They are trustworthy, guarantee their work, and are reasonable. Highly recommended.

Went in for an oil change and Jacob was awesome! He broke down all of the options as far as oil and the differences and a tire rotation was included. He even gave me some things to keep an eye on for the future. They didn’t try to add on extra charges or say that I needed this and that, only some things to watch. Overall great and not pushy. Definitely coming back for anything I need

This place is the most amazing auto shop I’ve ever been to. As a single woman, I was always nervous to take my car in because I’ve been ripped off. Steve rocks! They actually fixed a few things for free as a courtesy, like a loose hose, blown fuse etc. It’s because they go the extra mile that I will be a loyal customer forever. They are first class, KNOWLEDGEABLE guys that get the job done right the first time. Steve makes you feel so at ease in these stressful car trouble times. I don’t know much about cars, so usually feel both overwhelmed and taken advantage of by an auto shop. Steve at Sun Devil Auto gave me my faith back. Took my car to the dealership cause sounded terrible and turns out had a broken exhaust. Dealership was going to charge me $ 700 to weld it and to replace the part would be $ 3300. I called Steve because my sister recommended him and he said to bring it in so he could take a look; he didn’t charge me to check out he car (I paid $ 100 at the dealership). He couldn’t fix it, but called another place nearby that could. The cost to fix the car was $ 60. I will never take my car back to the dealership again and will always go to Sun Devil. Give Sun Devil a chance, they are honest and fairly priced.

Great Customer Service! Honest and reliable.
My mother’s car began overheating and she happened to be right by Sun Devil Auto on Frank Lloyd Wright. She pulled the car in and was immediately greeted by the caring and helpful staff. I picked her up and we left her car with them for the afternoon.
Jose, the service advisor called her with updates and was so courteous and professional. When we went to pick up her car, he explained that her coolant must have simply leaked causing the issue and that they topped off the needed fluids. When I asked for the total cost, he stated «I’d love to charge you, but there’s absolutely nothing wrong with the car». We left with a great running car again and a smile from the amazing service we received.
I highly recommend Sun Devil Auto and we will use them in the future for all of our car needs.

Took my car in for a 70k mile check on Saturday. I had called in and spoken to Austin over the phone before dropping off the car and he was really friendly.
When I dropped off the car, he asked me if there was anything I was concerned about in particular. I had noticed this loud crunching noise coming from my front right passenger wheel well but it had been happening for a while and I figured if there really was an issue, the techs would find it during the 70k inspection (why give ammo to be ripped off, right?).
Austin then called me later saying they had found a substantial issue with the axle/​wheel well area (as well as with an engine belt). The prices for the repairs weren’t cheap but it seemed fair considering the area and the prices charged by the competition in comparison.
Being a poor newlywed who has only a slight grasp on car mechanics, I really appreciated Austin taking the time to explain each and every issues/​repair/​cost to me. He never made me feel rushed and was very respectful and patient.
It was still a bit painful paying for the repairs (when is it not??? :P) but the car drove and sounded great afterwards. Thanks to Austen and the great service experience, I will be back again.
