Laurent is an International Award Winning Photographer based in the Phoenix, Arizona area and available to travel anywhere in the world for weddings, portraiture (families, seniors, children, glamour), sports, events, architectural photography or special projects.

History

Established in 2007.

Like many photographers, I became interested in photography at a young age. My first camera was a Polaroid when I was 7 or 8 years old and I loved taking pictures of my family. In my teen years, I moved on to a 35 mm Nikon F501 camera that my parents offered to me for Christmas and I used Paris and its street life as my canvas to practice my skills. While in high school, I also started taking pictures at nearby Roland-​Garros during the French Open of tennis whenever I could. This is when I started selling my first pictures and when I started thinking of photography as something that could eventually become more than «just» a hobby. College provided me some formal training and additional experience in other visual and multimedia techniques.

In 2007, I finally decided to jump in and create Studio Laurent to combine my passions and talents into a creative photography and design studio. I am an on-​location, natural light photographer and prefer to use natural surroundings and backgrounds.

Business Owner

Born in Paris (France), I grew up near Versailles until age 19 when I had an opportunity to move to America to attend University. Over 20 years later and I’m still here living the American dream in sunny Arizona!

I absolutely love being behind the camera capturing creative, fresh, fun and timeless images. Not only will I treat you with the upmost professionalism but I will also make sure that you have fun during your experience.

So far, my photographic adventures and assignments have taken me to beautiful destinations in France, Italy, the Czech Republic, The Caribbean and Mexico. I am bilingual French/​English and have working knowledge of Spanish.
