This place is amazing! Hidden gem in old town area… Small setting, super quaint and very comfortable! The owner is warm and welcoming! This place is my new favorite and I will be back!

There’s been very few people in my life that has been able to make miracles happen especially when you’ve gone to the wrong hairstylist! Luiz is the most incredible and professional hairstylist I’ve ever met! Thank’s again Luiz at Studio 251 for your amazing work!!!

Always feel beautiful after leaving. Nicole provides excellent color. She will give you the color and highlights that compliment you most. I give her free reign when I’m in for a cute and color. My grown daughters always look forward to a visit to Nicole when they are in town to visit. The salon itself is small and quaint. You’re not paying for a posh shop, but you will be delivered the utmost care in your cut and color.

Ive been going to Studio 251 since the beginning of the year and I Love, Love Love my hair! Would never go anywhere else! Luis is a hair genius, his experience and knowledge never seases to amaze me. I promise you will not be disappointed!

I went to Luis for years when I lived in AZ… only stopped because I moved. He always takes his time, does a great job and is very reasonably priced! Convenient location too!

Studio 251 is as good as it gets! Luis has become a genuine friend, in addition to being a fantastic stylist! He is the best choice for hair care, for women and men. Time goes by fast when you’re there, as there’s always something to talk about. We will often talk about football, and often about the Cardinals and Sun Devils, and it’s always a great discussion. He always takes appointments, as well as taking walk-on’s. If all of that is not enough, he’s located right in the Scottsdale old town entertainment district, so you can stop by for a cut, style or color, and then head right out for food or drinks!

There is a reason this salon has 5 stars, but it really deserves 6! A very good friend of mine has been coming here for several months and Luis did a total transformation with only a cut and color on her, so I knew he was going to be great. After 6 months of using store bought color, I came in because my hair had started to get really dull and it never look shiny or clean, even right after a shampoo!
Well, that’s not the only reason I came in. I met Luis at a dinner party and he is such a wonderful person! I knew from my friend how amazing he is at color and cuts, but he was so much fun that I just wanted to hang out with him again!!! He is brilliant at what he does though, he has the training, knowledge, experience and tools to completely transform you, or update your look, or give you a perfect trim or bangs… at this point I am 100% positive that he can really do anything! He can do the wild colors and cuts, which I have seen photos of, but he will really listen to you to make sure that you get exactly what you want– or even better. I have a little army of silver hairs creeping in at my hairline and I was just doing an all over black, which started to look extremely obvious and instead of getting wild with colors like I was thinking, he suggested we wait and see how my hair responded to the new color. I totally appreciate this because I asked for black with blue highlights at a salon in Phoenix and my hair decided it was going to be purple with green highlights! It was a mini-​nightmare. Luis will not take risks like that with your hair without getting a sense of how it will respond, he is honest and will tell you what is really possible with your hair type, yet still give you what you want and surprise you by how a small amount of snips will completely change the structure and natural fall of your hair! I love what he did with my cut and color. He is truly an artist and I am telling everyone I know to go and pay him a visit!
So the end result: I do not know how he did this, but I went in there with dull black hair that I was trimming myself and came out with amazing shiny locks that seemed LONGER than when I came in!
Do yourself a favor and go see him, he will change your look for the better. I literally feel like I have more self-​confidence because he made my hair so beautiful!!! I also feel like I have a new friend, you will see that he is just a wonderful person– to know him is to love him! And last but not least, he makes the world’s best Bloody Mary! He could win awards (for the hair also)!!!

Amazing!!! I had a full set of extensions put in and they are perfect. He took his time and made sure they were hidden. He made it feel like I was there for an hour, even though I was in there for 3 – 4 hours. Luis is the best and flexible with scheduling thank goodness

Second time here and still amazed by Luis’s knowledge and ability to recommend products!!!

I’ve been coming to Luis for 2 years. Luis is hands down the best stylist I’ve ever had. I have a lot of hair, and Luis takes his time with my hair every single time. I’ve never feel rushed, and my hair always comes out looking amazing.
I guess I should thank my boyfriend for leading me to Luis. Luis is his stylist, and when I was looking for a new stylist he BEGGED me to give Luis a try. I was scared to take advise from my boyfriend but two years later I’m still coming to Luis. So I guess bf knew what he was talking about.

I got my first cut from Luis yesterday. Luis did a fantastic job coloring my wife’s hair so she recommended that I give him a try. Luis did an outstanding job as he was meticulous and careful. I highly recommended him for men and women’s hair.

Luis was fantastic! I went there to get a cut and color, which usually takes a lot longer than the average person because my hair is so thick. Even though I went on a Friday evening, he was fabulous, made me feel special, and worked meticulously. I felt very comfortable and knew that he would take good care of my hair. My hair feels amazing — probably the best haircut I’ve gotten in years. He even walked me to my car to make sure I got home safe (you never know on a Friday night). I will be going back for sure and have already suggested him to all of my friends. Thanks, Luis!!!

I Absolutely LoVe Luis !!! Not only is he an amazing stylist, and can make any color work. He is such a pleasure to be around, positive energy with a more then great sense of humor … I highly recommend giving Luis and his team a try, you will not be disappointed. :)

Studio 251 is awesome! A quaint, cute salon in old town with wonderful service. Luis has done my hair multiple times and is always careful to pay close attention to every detail of the process. He is genuinely interested in pleasing his clients and involves you in every step to ensure the end result is what you envisioned. I will continue to return for all of my hair needs. Two thumbs up

I found this place by chance on Unilocal and thought I’d give it a try because it was near where I recently moved in Scottsdale. Being new to the state, I don’t have a ‘go to’ place for my beauty needs yet, but I think I found it here!
Scheduled a perm for a Saturday with Luis, the owner. I ended up having to cancel due to a late furniture delivery at home, but Luis was able to see me on Sunday instead… Did you hear that? Sunday, the salon is closed, but he took care of me on his day off. I felt so special.
So as you know, perms take forever… we spent hour upon hour gabbing over coffee and laughing so hard I was crying! It was better than seeing a therapist! LOL!
Definitely going back for hair coloring, cuts, nails and people-​watching through the salon window with a view! ;) I only met Luis since I was there on an ‘off’ day, but it was clean, he was very knowledgeable, and he loves his business, job and family and it shows!
Not only did I find a new place for my beauty needs, I think I found a new friend. I highly recommend Studio 251.

I love going to see Luis for my hair. He takes his time and does a terrific job. Luis gives the best scalp massages. My appointments are usually and hour and he always cuts and styles every time. Nice man, great stylist. My mother and sister also see him and love him too.

I have been going to Luis for about 3 years. Luis is a great stylist, really listens to his customers and what they are looking for. He also isn’t afraid to suggest things that may improve the condition of your hair or enhance your appearance. He is most accommodating in scheduling and treats his customers very well.
Going to Luis is more like visiting a good friend than a business transaction.
I highly recommend Luis!
