History

Established in 2001.

The school was established to fill the needs of residents of North Scottsdale, Paradise Valley and North Phoenix for quality instruction in Spanish for those who travel, use Spanish in the work place or just for general enrichment. The doors have been open at the same location in the Scottsdale Airpark business zone for over 12 years.

Early on we offered instruction for employees of several major corporations having a presence in our area. Now we serve mostly individuals and couples who visit Scottsdale in the winter months coming from as far away as Sweden and Canada. Most of our students live either near our location or work in the Scottsdale Airpark. We have a longstanding good reputation having professional credentials for teaching at the college and post-​secondary levels. Our publishing arm, Spanish Forum Publishing is the source for teaching materials used at our school and in community college.

Business Owner

Owner and sole instructor, has B. A. and M. A. in Spanish from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Taught at Temple University, Philadelphia, PA, University of Wisconsin-​Milwaukee, Scottsdale Community College and Paradise Valley Community College, Phoenix, AZ. Has taught and traveled in Mexico and Sourth America and traveled to Spain. Over 25 years teaching experience in Spanish and Portuguese. Author of En Realidad, Books I and II, Practical Spanish Books One and Two, Temas y Lemas and De Veras: Spanish for Landscape, Construction and Associated Trades.
