Sip and twirl are fantastic!!! I had the great pleasure of working Kate and Emily for my wedding. The day was perfect in every way in large part to their efforts! They are incredibly organized, detail oriented, and made everything beautiful. Even though I was living in Utah and planning my wedding from afar, they made it easy and fun! This was by far the best money we spent on the whole wedding. On the day of my wedding, my mom and I were just able to relax and enjoy it, which was the best gift of all. I can’t recommend Sip and Twirl highly enough!!!

Could not have asked for more professional, responsive and thoroughly organized planners to help with our February wedding in Scottsdale. Kate and Emily were invaluable, particularly because this was a destination wedding for us and we did not arrive into town until 3 days before our event. They took care of an inordinate number of details and worked seamlessly with each of our vendors.
From our initial meeting to their farewells at our reception, I cannot say enough good things about our experience. Sip and Twirl is amazing and I would not hesitate to give them my highest recommendation.

My wife and I just got done with our wedding in Scottsdale and we couldn’t have been more thrilled with working with Kate, Laurie and Emily at Sip & Twirl. Joining the chorus here — hiring Sip & Twirl was the best decision we made for our reception. Emily is fantastic. She is patient and wonderful at handling last-​minute issues. And her enthusiasm is infectious — when I was getting bogged down in the details and getting frustrated, Emily was able to rekindle my enthusiasm and help me focus on what was important. S&T’s knowledge of local vendors and how to handle the challenges of a backyard party were invaluable. I’m normally a bit of a control freak — but in the days leading up to the party I had no problem handing everything off to Emily and team because I knew everything would turn out perfectly. And boy did it turn out perfectly! When we saw how they had transformed our backyard, my husband and I were beyond thrilled. It was cozy and colorful and quirky and comfortable — just what we had wanted. Emily, Laurie, and the entire team are, to put it simply, ROCK STARS!

I interviewed 19 planners, yes 19!!! Then 12 made it to our home (we wanted our wedding at our home). And Sip and Twirl shinned above the rest.
I…have…no…words (and if you met me you know that never happens). All I can say is these women are beyond amazing. They EXCEEDED all my expectations… all of them. Sip and Twirl was the best decision we made in planning our wedding! I simply do not know where to start… I worked with S&T for about a year (I chose the 30 days-​out package and the Design Consultation add-​on) and the quality and attention that I received throughout that entire year was standalone. Retrospectively, I could never have put a price on the level of service we received.
Laurie, Kate and Emily served as my constant therapist and friend (depending on what day it was and how stressed out I was :) and for that I am forever grateful. Truthfully, my groom should be the one writing this as S&T helped me more that we could’ve ever imagined and were so nice to have just a phone call (or vox!) away! They helped me pick out vendors, put together my welcome bags which ended up so cute!, and stored all of my décor items for months on end while planning so many more weddings! Without Kate & Emily, we would’ve been lost, stressed and tired! Instead the entire process was so pleasant and our wedding day was truly the best day of our lives.
Having an out-​of-​town family and an in-​town wedding can get messy at times but they helped me plan every minute detail and i mean EVERY DETAIL with flying colors and managed budget expectations with my family back in Ohio.
I couldn’t have had a better experience planning our wedding thanks to the love and support from S&T. They made the wedding day and I really should say wedding year a breeze.

I was a bride that interviewed many wedding planners prior to making a decision. When I met Laurie and Kate I knew right away they would be an amazing fit. I will focus on the last 30 days of planning since everything came together as it should during that time. Laurie and Kate are both very professional as well as so sweet and fun to work with. They truly wanted the best for me and it was so important to them that I was happy with the vision and how it all turned out.
Now, I could go on and on and write a novel but I don’t think anyone wants to sit here for hours reading a review so I’ll cut to the point. On my wedding day I was so calm and was able to enjoy the day, something that I know a lot of brides are not able to do. This was because I felt prepared and knew that if anything came up, they would be able to handle it. Laurie knew what it would take for everything to come together and even with a venue that had LIMITED set up time, they brought in extra people and were prepared to put my dream wedding together. Laurie truly cares about her brides and takes pride in making sure they have the best day of their lives. Her team is amazing at what they do and you can trust that they will do what it takes to make your wedding day the best day of your life.

As luxury wedding photographers, we work hand in hand with planners on almost every wedding. A good planner not only makes a couples dream come alive on wedding day through the details, but also makes sure their experience through the day is one they will never forget.
What makes Laurie and her team at Sip & Twirl stand out is their genuine care for their clients during the wedding as well as their thoughtfulness about their clients after the wedding. They are one of the only planning teams that prioritizes moments as much as the details. Weddings are expensive, and exhausting effort goes in to the planning and execution of the ceremony and the reception, and those are extremely important to document in as artful of a way as possible so couples can always remember the look of their wedding. When looking back through their photographs, couples want to remember what it felt like on their wedding day, and Sip & Twirl gets that. Their timeline coordination to ensure their couples have plenty of time to experience each portion of the day and us as photographers have enough time to properly capture each portion of the day is as good as it gets.

We worked with these ladies at one of our venues in downtown Phoenix and man did they rock! They treated the bride with such respect and care. She was incredibly relaxed during the entire planning process, which is the enter point of a good planner. Laurie actually had a mini medical emergency during the set up of the event and kept on trucking through the entire event. Only going to the ER the following day. They really did a wonderful job and were a real pleasure to work with! I would recommend them any day.

I recently got married on 05/​04/​2013. I had planned my wedding for a little over a year and felt very «ahead of the game,» and organized. I had picked out everything, lined up all of the vendors and was sure that I was prepared and ready to go. Then out of no where 30 days before the wedding chaos set in! I realized about five weeks out that I was not where I needed to be and that with work, it was extremely difficult to finish all of the final details. The last thirty days truly are what make the wedding or event what they are. I began research for a wedding planner. My fiancé was very much against the idea. He felt that all of our family members, grandparents and aunts would be perfect for the task of setting up and breaking down the wedding. Thank God I found Sip and Twirl. I contacted Laurie explaining that I needed some serious help!
Who was going to handle the vendors day of, who was going to set up all of our favors and goodies, and décor, who was going to get us in line and ready for the rehearsal… who collects the gifts and sentimental artifacts at the end?
Within minutes of emailing Laurie I got all the reassurance I needed. She responded and was so kind and very clear about how they could help me. She asked me to give her all information in regards to the wedding… so I slowly gathered my huge list and handed it all over to her. She was so sincere, professional and easy to talk with.
I then was introduced to Caily who became my go to girl! She is AMAZING! I met with her and Laurie to discuss final details and without a hitch I gave them complete control of everything! That was the best moment of my entire wedding planning! Caily eased all of my concerns, confirmed all of my vendor information two days prior, and made certain modifications of things I didn’t even think of!
Caily is so sweet and willing to help with anything AT ALL! She truly made my day magical! All of the loose ends and details I hadn’t even thought of came together like a dream. and it is only because of her!
These ladies are beyond good at what they do, they have an eye for events! I truly for the first time in the planning experience had nothing to think about. The rehearsal went so smooth and our families were given great instruction on where to be and when (which was SO needed). The day of, I got to relax and forget about the details. When I arrived at the venue I was blown away with how beautiful everything looked, and how smooth everything was going. We received countless praises from all of our guests about what an amazing night they had! That is the best complement to any bride and groom!
I could ramble on for days to tell you what a duo these two are… but you need to see for yourself. They are affordable, reliable, hard working and AMAZING! We have amazing memories from this day and none of it would have been possible without Laurie and Caily!
