Let me tell you about my experience with Dr. Donald Sheridan and his office. The backstory is that I already had carpel tunnel surgery scheduled with another surgeon, and I had a bad feeling about the other surgeon, not at all at peace. I kept telling myself to get over it, but it just didn’t feel right, so I started from square one looking for a new surgeon. I was referred to Dr. Sheridan from the orthopedic surgeon who had done my knee surgeries. I called Dr. Sheridan’s office, explained to the front desk lady my situation (that I had the other surgery scheduled within the week), and she was able to get me in for a consultation later that same week!
I will say I had to wait quite a while in the waiting room, but it was worth the wait. I knew from the moment I met Dr. Sheridan that I liked him — great personality, straightforward information, but thorough in his information at the same time, putting me at ease about my carpal tunnel surgery. Then I met Lauren, the surgery scheduler, who was awesome as well! She somehow managed to be professional and at the same time I felt so comfortable with her that she could have been my BFF. At my consultation, they were able to schedule my surgery for the very following week.
The day of the surgery, Dr. Sheridan checked in with me to see if I had any questions at all before we began the procedure, and answered any questions I had. The surgery went smoothly, and I’m currently 7 days post surgery, and haven’t had numbness/​tingling/​pain in my right hand since the surgery. Dr. Sheridan, my right hand thanks you!

Dr. Sheridan and his staff are unbelievable. In this day and age it is so nice to get a chance to work with a staff that is concerned patient care first. Every member made me feel like I was the most important person in the building and took my worries and concerns very seriously. Joleen, receptionist, is ON TOP OF EVERYTHING. She always communicates and followed up with every question and request I had.
Lauren and the other PA’s are also amazing. Every step of my procedure was explained in detail. They called me several times to ensure I was healing and doing well. Of course I was doing well after my surgery because I had the best surgeon in the world. Obviously, I don’t want to pursue more surgeries but IF I ever need him again, then I will go see Dr. Sheridan and his staff happily. Actually, My mother is in need so I will send her (this idea came to me as I wrote this review) :)
Thank you to all of you at The Orthopedic office of Dr. Sheridan. You are truly the best medical practice I have ever had the pleasure to do business with. I trust you and appreciate your professionalism.

Dr. Donald C. Sheridan is an Amazing Doctor who treated me with a lot of TLC… he «fixed» my very sore inflamed elbow with one shot at my first office visit. His staff is also amazing… they seem to all work as an organized team and share the same «can-​do» tender loving care attitude. I would highly recommend Doctor Sheridan.

I have gone to see Dr Sheridan two times in the last year. On recommendation from my doctor. Once for the beginnings of tennis elbow and tensynovitis in my other hand. A couple injections later and I feel so much better! My tennis elbow never came back and my wrist feels so much better, hopefully I won’t need to go back since we caught it so early. It’s very convenient that they have all the x ray equipment there so you don’t have to run around.
He really is a great at his specialty and is very warm and caring. Hopefully I won’t ever have any other issues but if I do I will not think twice to go to him.
It’s a wonderful office-​the staff is so friendly and courteous. They call back very quickly after leaving a message also.
They are located in the Ironwood Square medical plaza not on the Honor Health Piper side-​Google maps will try to take you there instead!

My review is the polar opposite of Sarah B.‘s. Donald Sheridan is the most capable, compassionate, and sincere doctor I know. And I know lots. I have had 12 surgeries since 1994. My experience with Dr. Sheridan has now extended over more than 17 years. I have had surgery with him three times. I first met him when I was 21. I had a bad tendon rupture as a result of my rheumatoid arthritis. I went up to his office and saw all the pics of athletes and celebs on the walls and wondered if this hot-​shot doctor would help an awkward, sickly aspiring pianist! He did, and has continued to care for my hands since that day. That visit, he sat with me and patiently explained the procedure he had in mind. He asked me if I had any questions and, on the verge of tears, I answered quickly: no. «Well, let’s sit here for a minute in case you come up with some.» and I did. When a similar thing happened to my other hand years later, I went to him. He remembered my case, including that I played piano, and he even remembered the name of the dumb boyfriend I’d had at that first surgery! He has always ALWAYS worked hard to get me back to piano playing… never once telling me to give up that dream. He is the furthest thing in the world from the typical ortho surgeon who just wants to cut. More than once he has counseled me to avoid surgery. He treats my hands like they are his own. When I had a bad complication from a shoulder surgery with a different surgeon, Dr. Sheridan was available to consult with me by phone and offer his expertise and insight. Maybe you are reading this and thinking, «Well, this reviewer is hardly objective.» That’s right. I am not. I love and trust Dr. Sheridan the way one loves and trusts a beloved teacher. He is not just an exceptional physician; he is a great man.

Very rude doctor. If he cannot cut you open, he isn’t interested in helping you. He was so rude it just shook me to my core. Now I have requested copies of medical records to go elsewhere and the office is stalling. Been waiting 3 weeks.
