Dr. Sanel and Dr. Cosijns started their practice from their desire to help the outstanding population of chronic pain suffers in hopes of giving them a renewed life of being as pain-​free as possible.

We feel the patient experience starts with the first response from our front office staff. It is a priority for all patients to be treated well by compassionate staff and physicians.

Dr. Henry S.

Business Owner

Henry Sanel, M.D. is a Diplomat of the American Board of Pain Medicine and the American Board of Anesthesiology and has been awarded the Certification of Added Qualifications in Pain Management by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He graduated, summa cum laude, from Temple University and obtained his M.D. degree and acceptance into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society at Albany Medical College in Albany, New York.

He completed two years of general surgery training and 3 years of anesthesiology residency at Albany Medical Center Hospital where he was also elected Chief Resident. Dr. Sanel then completed a one-​year interventional pain fellowship at the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center under the direction of Dr. Gabor Racz, a world-​renowned expert in this field. Although Dr. Sanel is well trained to treat a wide variety of pain syndromes, he has a special interest and expertise in the treatment of back and neck pain, Failed Back Syndrome and Reflex Sympathetic Disorder.
