Finding a good therapist can be challenging. It’s a delicate match between the person giving the therapy and the client(s) receiving it. Sandy is the ultimate professional. She is constantly looking to learn and improve her skills as a therapist, both in continuing her education and in teaching various classes. Probably one of Sandy Jardine’s best qualities is that she tailors her therapy to the people she sees. She does not have a «one size fits all» approach. This allows Sandy to treat each client as they need to be treated, rather than using her own preferred method of therapy. What are some of the things which made Sandy a good therapist for me? She listened to what I said and also what I didn’t say. She made me think for myself, but she also gave me concrete suggestions to solve my issues. For example, when I had trouble sleeping due to constant thinking, she offered a number of different ideas which could help me to get back to sleep. Sandy made me feel safe even when I shared some of my less desireable actions/thoughts. She helped me to learn a lot about myself, make positive changes, and ultimately feel that I had accomplished what I needed to. When I no longer had anything I wanted to talk about, I knew it was time to leave therapy. Sandy helped me through the process and told me I was always welcome to come back — if needed — for as short or as long as I want. I highly recommend Sandy Jardine to anyone who is looking for a therapist. LJS
