Anthony Vigil is the best stylist, blonde highlighter, and extension person I have ever been too. I literally fly from Denver every 6 weeks to see him. His prices are so adorable and does such an amazing job that it’s worth me flying here!!! He always goes out of my way to get me in. I’m naturally a brunette, and he has taken me from brown to blonde and back to brown and then blonde again with never ruining my hair. On top of this he is putting extensions too!

They were great!!! Paul was amazing! I booked the appointment for my mother, who had been growing her hair out for 5 years to donate it to locks of love! She went from hair down the middle of her back to a short really really cute pixie cut! I would not go anywhere else!

I’m SO happy that I went to Jeanna at Saints and Scissors!
I’ll start by saying, even though I was late and a new client, Jeanna took my under her golden cape, and worked some serious magic!
I came in with half my hair blue on bottom and blonde on top, and I needed to get rid of the blue asap. Again bare in mind– I was already late for my appointment AND arriving as a new client. But not once did she rush through my consultation. She spent at least 15 minutes asking questions about my hair, processes it had been through and what results I was looking for. I knew she wanted to fix my hair yet protect its health. Because of the blue on blonde it required an extra step and time however, Jeanna was happy to do this extra step! She never rushed or skipped anything!!!
The results are amazing and I love my hair! Not only is she patient with late newcomers, she’s got wicked good hair skills whom I’ll trust every time with my hair!

Called in for a last minute appointment for a conditioning treatment, cut, and blow. I was quickly accommodated and had Juli assigned as my stylist. Juli was extremely warm and welcoming when I walked in and did a great job following through with cutting my hair just as we discussed during the consultation. I’ve been in Arizona for slightly over a year and have been in search of a stylist with no success… But after my experience with Juli, I am so happy to announce that my quest is over! These Unilocal reviews don’t lie and Saints & Scissors just got themselves a new, loyal customer! Thanks again Juli!

I love this salon, the décor is very edgy and glamorous and the staff really listens to your wants and needs! It’s a comfortable setting and they make you feel right at home :) Six weeks later and my haircut still looks fresh! Thanks Paul!

Went back to get my hair fixed and I left feeling beautiful. At first appointment we simply didn’t understand each other but I came back with more detailed pictures and I left with exactly what I had in mind. My hair got completely lightened and turned out still in great condition and she was more then patient and nice to me. I love my blonde hair.

So I heard about this place and a stylist through a referral. I’ve been hoping to get a cut and some color so I thought, what the hell, and decided to give it a go. I was not disappointed! I’m pretty sure my hair fell in love a little with Anthony. He was super attentive to how I want my hair to look like and gave me exactly what I wanted. He seemed very knowledgeable and gave great suggestions when I couldn’t describe what I wanted sufficiently. The time flew by and for the first time, ever, it was extremely painless to see my hair on the floor! This place is great and has such a welcoming atmosphere. You cannot go wrong by choosing to come here!

Horrible. Worst service. Waiting 15 minutes to start after my scheduled appointment. Cut WAY too much off my hair. Leaving my thick hair thicker with uneven choppy layers. Currently crying because my hair was perfect before. Never going back. Also got called a «Debby Downer» because I didn’t start a conversation…

Paul Pace Is a Rock Star! He gave me an amazing highlight and an awesome cut :) I felt comfortable the minute I walked in the door. He took the time to chat with me a bit before he started since I was a new client, and made me feel at ease in his chair.
Would recommend to any and all for highlights or a killer cut :))

My oh my! I have the worlds finest hair, it had no movement, or volume, I couldn’t even wear it down.
I came in and saw Jenn Phillips, she cut my hair and it lays so pretty now, it has texture and body! She’s a hair genius! She also, is incredible with color… going light, or dark! She’s totally on top of the trends so whatever you want you come see her!

After several bad hair experiences I was thrilled to find this place :) Blonde hair can be tricky (as anyone who has bleached for a prolonged period knows). Sometimes it can take on a strange orange tone or other odd not-​so-​desirable hues. Not the case here! Paul did my hair perfectly and the price is totally fair.
I recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stylist! Oh and I can’t forgot to mention that you can have a beer while you get pampered… pretty cool. right?

No better feeling than finding someone you can trust with your hair. For the service you receive, this place is very fairly priced. Amanda did an amazing job and I’m happy to admit that I’ve found my stylist for years to come.
I showed her a photo of what I wanted the final product to be and wahhhla, she made it happen. Very patient, very personable and is great at her craft. I felt welcome upon entry and loved the atmosphere!

Anthony is fantastic and I love my hair! I’m super picky and don’t change often but he added blonde to my dark brown hair and I love it! I’m always terrified of having my long hair cut because stylists get a little snip happy but he cut beautiful long layers without loosing too much length. He is reasonably priced, funny, and quick! The salon is edgy but not pretentious.

I’ve been looking for just right hair salon for me for many months. This turned out just perfect! I got my haircut from Paul. He really tried his best for my hair. I feel so refreshing after my haircut. It’s awesome!

Wanted to get a blowout before a wedding I was attending.
Not being from AZ, I perused Unilocal for a place to get it done right by where we were staying in Old Town.
S&S had availability and booking online! There were actually some places on Unilocal whose phone lines did not work – dumb.
They are located slightly off of the main strip in Old Town where parking was plentiful… maybe this means a lot to me because I’m from Chicago but ++!
My appt was with Paul but when I walked in, he said that Amanda was the master for wedding hair. I really appreciated that feedback and he was 100% right!
Amanda and Paul actually were both SO friendly and so fun to be with for the short amount of time. It could have been the dry AZ heat but she worked wonders for my hair. I was SO happy! It barely took any time at all – such a better experience than a lot of my other blowouts IN Chicago.
Honest truth, my hair STAYED curly and non frizzy for 48 hours after the appt. Unbelievable – and it smelled amazing and did not feel crunchy.
Would highly recommend this place. FO SHO!

I could probably sit and type all day and that still wouldn’t be enough time to tell everyone about how great my experience was at Saints and Scissors.
After about 5 years of having long hair (and loving it by the way), I finally got a bit tired of it getting caught in the seat belt, in the car door, in my armpits… I had grown it out with the intention of donating it eventually, but even though I knew it was going to a great charity (Beautiful Lengths), I was still a bit nervous about going in for the big chop. That all went away as soon as Jennifer went to work.
The cut was fantastic, and I left for the first time ever not having that sense of regret and worry that I’d just made a really bad decision. The amount of time that Jennifer spent not only cutting and styling but perfecting my hair was impressive. I could see her concentration and felt she was treating my style with the same amount of dedication as she’d treat her own. That alone would have been a 5-​star review, but what really sealed the deal was her chair-​side manner.
During a haircut, I almost always sit there wringing my hands under the smock, faking my way through small talk. Jennifer was pleasant and actually easy to talk to, and she made me feel at ease very quickly. So yes, the haircut is important, but more importantly was that it was also a relaxing experience instead of a nerve-​wracking one! My search for the perfect salon is officially over!

Let me start by saying that I am super hair-​shy… before this experience, I had never colored my hair (even highlights) and changing the length much is usually a HUGE decision for me. I’ve never had a regular stylist because honestly, I’ve just never found one that I felt like really listened to me and what I wanted.
That ALL changed at Saints and Scissors. I scheduled an appointment with the owner, Paul, after seeing all of the great reviews he’s had. –Best– hair decision I’ve ever made. Starting from the time I made my appointment, he was warm and accommodating, and he was incredibly helpful when I had to unexpectedly postpone my appointment due to illness. He willingly stayed late so that he could get me (a new client he didn’t even know) in the following week.
Before he even touched my hair, Paul spent 20 – 30 minutes talking to me about what I wanted. He’s the first stylist that made me really feel like he was listening to what I wanted, giving me advice where I needed it and walking me through the process. After some discussion, we decided on low-​lights in a temporary color, very close to (but darker than) my natural one, blending it in so that my natural color would look like subtle highlights. He took such care and time in applying the color that my nerves faded away, and all that was left was excitement for seeing how it would turn out!
I’d been afraid that as damaged as my hair has become from the desert heat, I would have to cut it all off. I’d been trying to grow it out (as I told him), but I was open to cutting it up to the shoulders. Paul was able to work with my hair and only took off a few inches, so that with maintenance, I can continue to grow it back out and to keep it healthy. He also gave me some great pointers on how to keep my hair moisturized and from splitting, despite the natural heat, blow-​drying and straightening I often put it through.
By the time he styled my hair, I was sitting in the chair with a big, goofy grin, excited about the new color and the excellent job he’d done! He was conversational, friendly, and most importantly, made me feel like he really cared about my hair and the end result. I would absolutely recommend, especially if you’re thinking of trying something new, seeing Paul and letting him walk you through your new style. I will definitely be back to see him again, and am thrilled to have found a stylist that really values what he does! Definitely give him a shot — you won’t be disappointed with the service or the result!

I am extremely thrilled with the result of coming to Saints and Scissors. Paul is an absolute genius. He won’t do just anything if he thinks it’ll destroy your hair but he really listens and communicates to make sure he understands what you are wanting.
I have had so much trouble getting the vibrant yet classy shade of red I’ve wanted since before I began pin up modeling. It is always scary trying a new stylist, especially when you’ve been to the same one as long as I have, but it was well worth branching out. I will be back here again and I absolutely recommend Paul if you’re looking to try someone new.
