Rocket Fizz

Cool spot with unique candy and gag type gifts you can’t find anywhere. My son watches a lot of YouTube videos of people opening unique candy so he was really happy to be in the store.

My wife and I, our best friends and their son visited a Rocket Fizz for the 1^st time. The owner was there and treated all of us like we were friends forever! A super fun store and we hope everyone visits and supports them. 5 star experience!

SO FUN! Speaking of «Like a kid in candy store»… Man did we go crazy. We bought all of our old favorites and a ton of candy we had never seen. And their penny candy wall is perfect for party bags! We will be back.

I went there yesterday to find a cool candy for my daughter. Mostly all their candy is expired and highly overpriced. I bought a chocolate egg thing for my daughter. it was hard like a jawbreaker. and didn’t realize that too was expired until I opened it. disappointed with this store. not going back there again. sorry.

This is a cool place! The lady that works their (idk her name) is so nice! There’s a cute little chunky puppy that walks around and it’s so friendly! This place has to many cool candy/​sodas and old fashion cool stuff to look at! The staff member who checked us out was super knowledgeable and pleasant! Would like to come back when there’s more time to look at everything!

Lots of selection, but very pricey. but then again what candy store isn’t? Owner is very nice and helpful, definitely the personality of someone who owns a candy store. Gave our nephews giftcards, but $ 10 doesn’t go very far. We didn’t really look before we set that budget, but there mom was happy because she’s a health nut and I’m the best uncle ever.

Great place if you are hunting down a variety of soda! Amazing selection! I was able to pick up some ginger beer here to make my Moscow Mule. Yum!

Great little shop with lots, and I mean lots, of tasty little treats, candies, specialty sodas and assorted knick·knacks. My wife and daughter spent a long time in the store just trying to decide what they wanted. Fun little place to go if you get a chance.

Cool little spot! Mostly candy and specialty sodas, with some nick nacks and toys. I feel a vintage/​throw back vibe here. You like tin lunch boxes? They have tons! Even throw back Star Wars. Huge selection of old school taffy with free samples. Decent selection of sour and gummy candy. Our big draw was the soda pop! Bottle after bottle of crazy favors and cool concoctions. Want to try a Flaming Moe or Duff from the Simpsons? They got those (Duff is an energy drink, not a brewski IRL)! Our cashier even told us about their soda club card, a punch card for frequent drinkers lol. They even have a bacon section!
You could easily spend an hour in this little shop, there is just so much stuff! If I owned a child, I’d use this place as a reward or special treat for good grades, etc: You got an A on your science project, Junior? Let’s celebrate at Rocket Fizz! Pick out five items and get down with your smart self! Parents, take note, haha.

Where do I start… These folks KNOW retail! My girlfriend and I were greated upon arrival by Sebastian who kept us cracking up as we shopped… The store owner is also extremely warm and friendly and always offers taffy to us when we walk in. To eat, my girlfriend and I got cow tails, 1000 grand bars, candy buttons, and a MARS bar which we had never tried before (delicious). To drink we chose a small batch cane sugar Cola which was also awesome. Go support this local business, these guys are awesome and worth the time!!!

Talk about feeling like a kid in a candy store! From the windows to the walls, this sweet-​tooth mecca is chockfull of candies galore!
There are hundreds of different varieties of sweets ranging from classic, olé school candy to new age (Angry Birds & Candy Crush) creations. Any flavor you can dream of, they likely have it. And for you bacon lovers (I’ll try to hide my disdain), there’s an entire section of bacon-​flavored thangs (sic) just for you. There was also an entire section of Asian goodies, some of which I had only ever seen at a Japanese festival, so it’s really cool that they carry them here. And the have the throwback water taffy too; barrels & barrels of taffy. The owner offered a free sample, but I declined. (I’m fairly certain that taffy is not vegan.)
On to the pop. Soda pop, that is. I am no expert, but this could very well be the largest selection of sodas in the city. Mind-​blowing variety. (I saw a Snooki soda. No words! But… I wonder how it tastes?) Some of the pop was refrigerated and some were on shelves. Some could be purchased individually, and some were sold as a 6, 12, or 24 pack. If you’re a pop connoisseur, you need to come here.
They also sell other novelty items like posters, pop culture standees (those life-​sized cardboard replicas), magnets, games, toys, etc. And again, these range from classic (Marilyn Monroe & James Dean) to modern (The Walking Dead, The Hangover).
Some of the candy was over-​priced, so don’t buy your everyday candy here; but for the rare or hard to get flavors, it may be worth it.
It’s a new (and fun!) store, located in the Thunderbird strip mall on the NW corner of N Scottsdale Rd & Thunderbird, behind the Taco Bell. The female owner was very nice and welcoming. I’ll definitely return for some sweetness!
