All I can say is that i avoided getting my teeth looked at for years and years and when i was in so much pain i finally went to a dentist they decided that i need to see a specialist about my wisdom teeth. I went to Dr. Pagani’s office and was super nervous, dreading this moment for years i didnt want to be there but the pain was telling me other wise. Next thing I know Im getting out of a wheelchair and into my sisters car. I’ve had a single 5 min bout of pain that the meds squashed quickly and since then have had no real pain especially compared to the nerve pain I was experiencing. Awesome experience. Going in today for my follow up -** 5 Teeth at once**

Dr. Pagani removed my wisdom teeth in September — I was referred to him by my regular dentist. I loved my experience which is weird to say about having oral surgery.
I did my consultation and a week later I was scheduled to have my surgery. A little nervous, I sat down in the chair and was prepped by Dr. Pagani’s amazing nurses. They could tell I was feeling a bit anxious about being put under and they both kept assuring me I was going to be fine and before I knew it I was awake with four less teeth. It was a much easier process than I thought it was going to be and I think that a majority of that was because Dr. Pagani is extremely good at what he does.

I met Dr. Pagani when my boyfriend of several years was jumped by 3 strangers leaving a Circle K in Scottsdale since they saw he was carrying some cash. He ended up at Scottsdale Osborn by ambulance, and that is where we met the oral surgeon that would be fixing his broken upper jaw, shattered left orbital, several sinus fractures, and some others in the face totaling 7 breaks as well as the 2 front teeth he lost. Dr. Pagani did such a wonderful job on my boyfriend’s surgery, so well that it healed beautifully. He also has great bedside manner in the hospital setting, explaining to us exactly would he would be doing, where he would be inserting mesh/​metal pieces to hold together his jaw, etc.
Now, today we were back at Dr. Pagani’s office this time for a tooth extraction that had exposed roots and was causing my boyfriend immense pain. The doctor first took, then checked, my boyfriend’s X-​ray to see that the surgery he performed healed exactly as it should. Which it of course did. Today, he had to extract the broken tooth for my bf who has had many bad experiences in the past, where he was not numb or sedated enough and felt the whole thing. Dr. Pagani provided everything needed to numb and perform the extraction, and made my boyfriend so comfortable that he didn’t even know it was already finished! This doctor is truly the best oral surgeon I have encountered in AZ. He took amazing care of the person I love the most, as my boyfriend has another appointment coming up and will continue to see Dr. Pagani for all extractions he needs, and also for implants in the future.
For myself, any time I need an oral surgeon, because of my experience being there watching, this will be the ONLY doctor I come to!
Also, the whole staff is so nice and friendly and personable. They all gave me updates thru out his (quick) procedure, and made me feel at ease knowing my boyfriend was doing well.
Thank you Dr. Pagani and staff for the exceptional service and experience, can’t wait to see you again! Can’t believe I’m saying that to an oral surgeon too, haha! :)

Awesome doctor! Very straight to the point and realistic about wether extensive surgery is needed. I prefer Dr. Pagani’s opinion over others because of that reason! He’s not trying to give unnecessary procedures or add on more costs for unnecessary reason. Staff are very courteous and kind. The Office and surgery room was very clean. I Highly recommend this place.

Dr. Pagani and team are extremely professional and genuine to all of their clients. Their unbiased approach really stands out and are always wanting their patients input and really listen to your needs. I will continue to recommend Dr. Pagani as the BEST oral surgeon in Arizona.

My sister recommended me to Dr. Paginis’ dental office. I’m extremely terrified of dentists and any form of surgery. Dr. Pagani’s office and staff are very professional and made me feel very comfortable during my 3 visits (consultation /​tooth removal & surgery /​My follow up visit). I haven’t seen a dentist for awhile, I was very scared that I would need surgery to remove my wisdom teeth. The whole experience from beginning to end was very reassuring. I recommend you to visit Dr. Pagani’s office! They are all super great! They make you feel reassured and comfortable. You won’t go wrong coming here! Thanks again Dr. Pagani and team you all were amazing!!!

Are you kidding me??? There was NO profound anesthesia or I would not have had to lay on top of her to keep her in the chair. We were not offered IV sedation or anything other than novacaine. I stand by my original review. I find it very interesting that Dr. Pagani responds to my Unilocal review but did not bother to call me the day after this procedure or any other time to check on my mother. I wouldn’t refer my worst enemy to him. Enough said.

From start to finish, nothing felt right about my consultation experience here…
I pulled up & the main parking lot has 4 spaces, which seemed pretty strange to me.
I got out of my car & walked in & it was a very dark lobby, which isn’t very welcoming. As I walked in, Carly Fiorina greeted me on the big screen TV! (haha she *was* on the TV, but it was part of a report, not to actually greet me! HAHA) I walked by the TV & to the reception desk & the receptionist was nice & seemed competent (best part of my experience). She had everything needed & just had me fill out the paperwork.
I sat down (alone in the lobby) & saw that the TV was tuned into Fox (so-​called) News, so that was a huge negative. At least have it on something neutral for patients! CNN for news or something else entirely, but not garbage like that… But that’s beside the point…
I got into the exam room & the nurse was really friendly, but, as much as I hate to say it, didn’t seem very competent for a medical setting. I had to take my earring out & I’d set it on my paperwork w/​my keys on the counter. We discussed unusual keys & I pointed out my apt key, which is pretty unique, & she picked up my keys & knocked my earring on the floor. Which happens, I suppose, but she didn’t even notice it until I got up & got it myself.
Then the Dr came in & he had either wet or clammy hands when he shook my hand. He had my X-​ray & asked me why I think I need surgery. Well, a Dr can see that I need my jaws worked on, but he wants me to tell him some mysterious keywords to point toward surgery. I’ve been dealing w/​this for most of the past 20 years or so, so I shouldn’t need to explain to him why I need it. He should look & see that my teeth are being destroyed without surgery!
He eventually decided I don’t need surgery & suggested that I have my orthodontist grind down my GOOD teeth, instead, to match the worn teeth! The point of a GOOD dentist, orthodontist, oral surgeon, in MY opinion, is to SAVE your teeth, not DESTROY them further!
Needless to say, I don’t care that he didn’t deem me worthy of surgery since I wouldn’t allow him to do more than a consultation w/​me anyway! He seemed like he was working w/​the insurance companies to save them the $$$ of surgery rather than trying to help find the best thing for me!
Fortunately, it was suggested that I have consultations w/​2 different drs! Pagani was a definite NO! Dr. Sabol was my other consultation & was more highly recommended & I was very impressed by Dr. Sabol’s consultation, so I’d suggest you check out Sabol & Golding’s office & skip the Pagani visit! (Btw, I do *NOT* work for or get ANY compensation from recommending Sabol & Golding! I just hate seeing anyone have no alternatives when they are looking for a good Dr. GOOD LUCK!!! :-))

Dr. Pagani is amazing. I had to get a tooth extracted and from the second I called I knew I made the right decision! His office staff is very kind and extremely quick. I was called back very shortly after coming in, had an xray taken and a tooth pulled in under an hour! Dr. Pagani is extremely knowledge and easy to trust! I would 100% recommend him even if you are far away – he is worth the drive! I have almost no pain after the extraction! Even after I had a problem with CVS, Dr. Pagani called immediately after I called him and fixed the situation! I will 100% come back to him for the implant!

I had put off the dreaded wisdom teeth removal for 10+ years and I finally had to do it a week ago. I was referred to Dr. Pagani by my dentist and while it has not been an enjoyable recovery, Dr. Pagani and his staff are great. The procedure itself was quick — less than 45min and they send u home with detailed instructions for post-​op care. The Dr. was happy to answer whatever questions/​concerns I had (even when I called him on a Sat :). Thank you for making a dreaded experience as positive as possible!

I don’t know if you can ever give a surgery 5 stars, but the staff and Dr. Pagani were awesome to work with.
It came time to get my wisdom teeth out and Simply Dentistry referred me to Dr. P. I was a little hesitant because he didn’t have reviews on Unilocal and I am new to the area so rely heavily on Unilocal BUT went with my gut and the referral since Simply is so awesome.
So I came in for an exam and it was quick and easy — luckily my teeth just needed to be popped out so it was an easy task. Came in early the day of the surgery with my boyfriend and they put me under and I was done in I think about an hour. I didn’t have much pain but I was annoyed I couldn’t really eat but that comes with the territory. Dr. P is nice and cool and easy to work with and very accommodating. He’s really straight forward which we appreciated.
Be prepared to be blacked out for more than half the day after the procedure — your friends of family will enjoy it but make sure you get plenty of sleep.
