History

Established in 2014.

it all started in 2011 with a trip to Ireland! We fell in love with the culture, countryside and people. Unfortunately the souvenirs we wanted to bring back to remember our trip either took up too much room in our suitcase or were too breakable to take the chance of bringing home on a long flight. Since this time, we have heard this from others as well. We decided to bring the traditions and culture of our heritage to Old Town Scottsdale and across the country with our retail store and online store.

The name Mully was chosen as it was the nickname of the owner’s Father– Joseph Mulheron. Since the last name Mulheron is quite long, his friends called him Mully. The original «Mully» (Joe Mulheron) passed away in 2003, the name lives on with Mully’s Touch of Ireland.

Nancy became interested in the Irish culture after tracing her family history on her Dad’s side to County Mayo in western Ireland. After visiting Ireland for the first time in 2012, she quickly fell in love with the culture, beauty and all things Irish. She decided to open Mully’s Touch of Ireland to share the culture and help others find items needed to share and celebrate their own Irish heritage, whether they are 100% Irish, only Irish on St. Patrick’s Day or somewhere in between.
