I’m very sad to see this place go. Good luck with your ASU location.

Some folk go broke from gambling, other folk go broke from indulging in luxury. I’ma be, I’ma be broke from eating out. $ 7.00 for a small slice of old cheesecake. Daaayum! Well I was feeling a bit inebriated when I walked in, but I sobered up quick. It’s hard to think of Mozart as a café because the menu offers breakfast and supper plates which include salmon, tilapia, pasta, and pizza dishes. There are also several choices of salads. It’s a perfect — restaurant — for vegetarian and pescatarian foodies. Everything on the menu sounded good and I really wanted one of each item, but they would have had to lock me in overnight and return the next morning to find me still sitting there trying to finish eating. Decisions…I went with a couple of easy prep sandwiches. The satisfying one: Sabich Pita($ 11) — eggplant, potato, tomato, cucumber, hummus, tahini, mango curry sauce, sans egg — skimpy on the hummus — not like the mango curry — good tahini but it was light coloured and creamy as if something was mixed in. Couldn’t get no satisfaction: Eggplant Chile Panini($ 11) — eggplant, garlic, tomato, basil, chili sauce, parmesan — did not taste basil — did not taste chile sauce — did not taste parmesan — oily eggplant Both sandwiches came with side salads made of fresh field greens and radish. Good salad, but didn’t care much for the lemonish oily dressing. Would have prefered more tahini.

Conveniently located to my office, I was able to pick up a California veggie Panini within 5 mins at 1:30. The taste and presentation were delicious. Heads up that they are currently listed and available for purchase on . The woman who works there refused my coupon, a man relented and explained that he tried to resolve the erroneous listing with the site several times.

I stumbled upon this gem today. I walked right in and got a table right away. Ketzia was my waitress and came over to my table right away. Being a first timer at this restaurant she was very helpful and told me her favorites. I ordered a meal I had never tried and it was amazing! I also tried the humus with pita bread and falafel which was outstanding! My service was great and so was the food. Ketzia was so helpful and was so sweet and personable. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and I will definitely be back!

My dad took me here for a birthday lunch today, have had this place bookmarked for a while and was super excited to get to try it! There is a huge menu with tons of vegetarian options which is totally awesome. When I first got there I wasn’t sure whether to seat myself or not. But I found a good table ha. There was a good amount of people there which was awesome! Kinda like a larger version of Kitchen 18, which I also liked. Not too fancy in terms of décor, but I like it! The guy serving us was really nice, a funny guy! I got a margarita pizza, my sister got an egg sandwich, and my dad got some kind of omelette. It took quite a while to get our food, but I’d say it was worth it! It was weird though because my sister got an egg sandwich with no mushrooms. It was still supposed to have onions and other toppings with it but it was literally two eggs and a toasted bagel on the side. Also she was supposed to get a side but they never asked her what she wanted. So it was $ 11 for just a toasted bagel and two eggs? No cheese or side or anything? Seems ridiculous! My dad liked his omelette, but none of us were too into the cucumber salad he got on the side. My pizza was the best, everything tasted so fresh and delicious. My only complaint was that it was a tad soggy near the middle, and I prefer tomato slices more thinly. But overall, I was impressed. Very good!

Excellent local food. The Breakfast choices looked really wonderful but we chose lunch. They brought out falafel which was Excellent. Wife had the Avacado Sandwich which she said was fresh and delicious. Daughter had the baked ziti. I tried it and it was excellent. Several Salmon and Talapia choices. I had Talapia Schnitzel and it was excellent. Also had Mediterranean pickles that were very good. Wonderful local Kosher food. Staff was Very nice.

A Unilocal misfire for me. My mango tilapia was fresh and tasty, but very pricey at $ 14. From past pics it looks like they used to give two pieces of fish too instead of one, so might be cutting corners. Service was also pretty poor and I often had to look around to get a utensil or a drink or the check. If you are in the area and don’t mind how much you spend, you will get a pretty good meal, but I personally prefer better service and am on a tighter budget. Unlikely I’ll return. Hope you have a better experience.

I have always wanted to try Shakshuka ever since I saw pictures/recipes on pinterest! After a few failed attempts to make it, I figured I would just search on Unilocal to see if any restaurants in the valley served it. Mozart was the first thing that showed up :) I was not disappointed! My boyfriend got the greek shakshuka and I got the regular. Both very delicious! The greek shakshuka was a bit tastier. Maybe because it was served with cheese, but either way both excellent choices! I think next time I will try their smoked salmon dishes since I’ve also heard good things about it!

Third trip to Mozart, exact same order: * hummus plate * Falafel sandwich * Spinach strawberry salad(w/little heavenly hunks of deep fried goat cheese — OH Lordy it’s yummy) * Lemonade Bonus: the owners are very sweet and the service is swift… there are shelves full of almond cookies and counters filled with baklava…(and my great big smiling-face at the little table next to the big windows). Very casual place… no frills dining, just great food!

I have been coming to Mozart since it first opened and never once have I been disappointed. Amazing food, great service, and friendly atmosphere. Fresh challah bread is baked every Friday and everything is made from scratch. I would recommend Mozart to anyone.

I stumbled into Mozart Café unexpectedly with twenty five minutes to spare mid-afternoon on a week day. I had pulled into the shopping area where my nail salon is and was positively ravenous. My eyes caught mention of «kosher, vegetarian and wifi» as I walked past the outdoor seating. I didn’t mean to make an entrance. Conversation stopped as an orderly room of eyes peered up at me. I’m not quite sure what prompted it. I can only explain my observations of the patrons, and then my wonderful dining experience. My only regret is that I was short on time and couldn’t linger. The food was fresh, delightful, prepared efficiently fast as was my strong turkish coffee. As I stood in the entry way my first thought was, «Oh dear. Where am I? Should I be here?» Stunned silence filled the room. I felt shy looking for a hostess.(I wasn’t sure if I should approach the bakery counter, or seat myself. You can seat yourself.) I noticed women wearing head coverings, which ranged from scarfs, wigs to small hats. The men that day were wearing button down shirts. Seated, an incredibly gracious host helped select the Spicy Tunisian panini to go with soup. A complete steal for $ 8.(½ sandwich.) Albacore tuna(ala the style from my childhood), boiled eggs, kalamata olives, potato was presented on a crispy panini. Perfectly grilled. I enjoyed it so much I almost forgot to eat my large bowl of soup. The soup itself is worthy of a meal. Dining solo I was privy to the conversations in the room. Bits of French and German wafted my way. Patrons ordered loafs of kosher bread from the wall. The Torah was discussed. And then, just as I was wrapping up my meal, a gentleman right behind me. Clearly hailing from New York answered his phone.(I’m from there and familiar with the accents.) «Yes Mom! YES. It’s me. You called me, remember?» [Loudly] «Ok. OK. No. NO. You’ll have to ask Ira to do that. I said IRA. Whaaat? Ok, never mind. I’ll do it myself. I SAID. I’ll call IRA. I’ll Call IRA.» So I think this is a place you can meet a nice Jewish boy.
