I just moved to Scottsdale and wanted a couple of keys made. I found Mercury and went in, they were very friendly. I had 2 house keys and 2 mailbox keys made. I went home the house key was fine but the mailbox key didn’t work. I went back and I think the owner was there and said he would come to my house and fix it. I couldn’t believe he came here and fixed it in 2 minutes. Now that is service. Love this place. They will always get my business

I have been meaning to write this before the Holidays but got caught up in the celebrations. I asked to have a BMW motorcycle key duplicated for bags on a 2015. Looking at the key it seems virtually impossible that anyone could ever replicate the interior groove design of an advanced technology key — however these guys did it flawlessly. I was in disbelief at the level of skill. Each of these keys cost around $ 300 to replace and I purchased two replacements which saved me over $ 500. Their customer service is exceptional and their skills for duplicating keys is even better. I want to thank them for giving me such a great price on such a difficult key to replicate. You can’t go wrong using this locksmith as I give them my highest recommendation.

I had a difficult time finding a vendor that would replace my broken shell for my vehicle. Mercury Lock and Safe seemed reasonable. They replaced the shell and key and when facing issues with the shell a short time later, they agreed to replace free of charge. I strongly recommend Mercury Lock and Safe.

I needed a new lock and two remotes for my car. I was given a quote. I dropped my car off. We arranged to pick it up that evening after the shop closed. We came to pick up our car and found not a new lock on our car, but the same lock, repaired, with keys to match that did not fit in the lock very well. They worked, but not well. We were told that they did not have time to program the remote as promised earlier that day. ok, they ran into some problems… so they did not have time. Next day, in the sunlight, I also notice that the area around the keyhole had been painted! I thought, what happened? He must have scratched it and painted it to cover it up? In any case, I did not like the paint job! Owner refused to do anything about the paint job and insisted that I should just accept the fact that he couldn’t get me a new lock because it was more expensive than expected when they quoted me. But they did not tell me any of these things before I picked up the car!!! Bad Communication!!!

Close to home, guys were great, helpful, got the job done quick and the first time, and had the keys I needed. Had just went to Home Depot only to walk around to find the key machine and then, them not have the right blank key. They also have a wide selection of keys, and lock accessories. Small locks to adult sized safes, your one stop shop for all your key and lock needs!!!

Since I bought my Van, I’ve been looking for a place to make an extra set of keys. Unfortunately, it has a computer chip, and I didn’t trust any of the bogus reviews that I kept seeing on Unilocal for locksmiths. I had talked with Ace Hardware, and they thought they could do it, but after seeing the keys, they didn’t want to take the chance of ruining the chip. So they referred me to Mercury Safe and Lock.
It took me a while to find them — they are located in the shopping center on the Northeast corner of Shea and Scottsdale next to Sportsman’s Wine. They knew immediately what I wanted and were able to help me. It did take a little longer than I expected, because they have to call the manufacture for the pin code. While I was waiting, I had a chance to look at their merchandise. They have quite a selection of Safes, dead bolts, latches, locks, etc. And they do automotive keys — so if you are looking to have extra keys made for your car, this is the place to go. They are relatively expensive, but it is just a fraction of the cost of getting keys programmed by the dealer.
