Lisa Swanson L.Ac. started practicing in California and relocated to AZ in 2014. She started her training under the direction of Dr Tan using the Balance Method which is an advanced comprehensive system for treating any concern, especially pain. Lisa held residencies at the California Pacific Medical Center’s stroke rehab clinic, the Charlotte Maxwell Cancer clinic, Lifelong Medical clinics treating families with a variety of internal medicine disorders including, digestion, pain, diabetes, infections, etc., the Kuan Yin HIV clinic, and the HAART methadone clinic. From this diverse background she can treat complex cases simply. She has also undergone advanced education in facial rejuvenation, pregnancy, labor induction and prep, post partum care, essential oil treatment, traditional chinese herbal formulations, mindfulness meditation techniques to handle stress, and kundalini yoga.

Lisa Swanson L.Ac. has been in the field of natural medicine for over 15 years. After taking the most vigorous and competitive exams in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine the California Acupuncture Board licensed her as soon as she graduated from the Acupuncture Integrative Medicine College in Berkeley, CA. Prior to opening a private practice and running retreats she worked with patients at the California Pacific Medical Center in Stroke Recovery, the Kuan Yin Healing Arts HIV and Hepatitis C Clinic, the HAART Methodone Addiction Clinic, Lifelong Medical Clinics in Berkeley and Oakland treating low income families with a variety of Internal Medicine Issues, and the Charlotte Maxwell Cancer clinic. From this diverse background and advanced education and training in The Balance Method she is able to treat any disease or concern comprehensively.
