This practice is dedicated to helping people cope with major transitions in their lives, including illness, aging, brain injury, cognitive difficulties, divorce, moving and other life changing circumstances.
I specialize in working with adults who are coping with medical and cognitive issues and my intention is to help you find your own answers by increasing your awareness, expanding your perspective, and discovering how to make healthy choices for yourself.
With these lessons in learning to trust yourself and how to listen clearly to your intuition, you can take back the reigns of your life and make choices to keep you moving towards health and happiness.
I provide help with identifying problem areas through specifically designed psychological and cognitive fitness evaluations and exploring problem areas, expanding your awareness of the solutions available to you, and assisting you in creating and maintaining a wellness plan.
History
Established in 2012.
Dr. Roth-Roemer is a medical psychologist, the director of Intuitive Psychology, PLC with a license to practice in the State of Arizona, and an adjunct professor at Arizona State University supervising and teaching psychology doctoral students studying behavioral medicine since 1998.
She trained at Harvard University (M.Ed.), Arizona State University (Ph.D.) and University of Washington School of Medicine (post-doctoral residency); with specialization in counseling psychology, behavioral medicine, pain management, geropsychology and cognitive evaluation.
Her clinical work, research, and numerous publications over the last 20 years has focused on helping adults and older adults handle the challenges of physical illness, aging, brain injury, and chronic pain. She lectures and presents at conferences and health care facilities across the country. er current work explores the role of intuition and spirituality in the psychological healing process, as well as practical application.

Manager
Kate is the Office Manager for Intuitive Psychology, PLC and will be happy to help you with any questions you may have about scheduling appointments or registering for workshops.
Prior to assisting Dr. Roth-Roemer with the day-to-day duties for Intuitive Psychology, PLC, Kate’s professional experience ranged from management within the food and beverage industry to corporate level management in the legal field.
A recent transplant to Arizona, Kate looks forward to growing professionally with Dr. Roth-Roemer’s practice while continuing her degree program at Arizona State University.
