Hayla Coture and Alterations

Hayla was amazing! Unfortunately I had a previous wedding dress that was ruined by another tailor so just 10 days before my wedding I had to buy a whole new dress. I purchased my dress from Demetrios in Scottsdale and before I had even checked out the sales lady was on the phone with Hayla explaining my sitatuon and explaining that I needed an extreme rush. When I showed up she was so sweet and made me feel instantly comfortable and I knew everything was going to be ok. She finished my gown in one day and then took one more day to add a bustle. Within 3 days my dress was finished and it was perfect! Hayla listens to exactly what you want and executes it beautifully. She is a very talented woman and after a bad experience with someone else Hayla is the only person I’d recommend to work on such an important dress!

Hayla not only did an amazing job on my bridesmaid dress, but didn’t pressure me into spending extra money on certain things. She was so sweet and honest and knowledgable! My dress looked amazing when she was done, and she even fixed the straps. Will never go anywhere else for alterations!

Hayla is an INCREDIBLE seamstress! She is fast, professional and had my clothes ready a day early. I am not only impressed by her but I am now a fan because all my clothes fit and look AMAZING! This is a tiny shop on McDowell/​77^th St and well worth finding if you need ANY work done! Her prices are by far lower then ALL the competition in the surrounding areas. I personally checked! She is the sweetest, loving and most down to earth lady and I hope you choose her for your Alteration Needs! (And NO I don’t know her personally)

She does more than just dresses. Guys: Are you tired of rolling up your pants and slacks because mainstream clothing makers think every man is at least 5 feet 10 inches tall? (I’m 5′ 7″, BTW) I’ve had her alter almost a dozen pants so far, and every pair now fits my inseam perfectly AND looks like it was originally made that way. Her prices are reasonable, and she is highly recommended!

I went to Hayla ²⁄₁₂ months ago i was recommended by a friend. If i had known now what a nightmare it was going to be I wouldn’t of gone. It took her 2 ½ months to do a big pillow for my dogs, a king pillow and a ramp I designed. Also a sm desk cushion. And a computer chair back and seat. Finally last week everything was done. Then she informed me she just takes cash! Then i got sticker shock 375.00. I told her Im giving you 300.00. I brought the stuff home 5 pieces were baggy and the back of the computer chair had darts in it. Horrible! My pattern didn’t have that in it. I have to find new material and start all over. I gave her all the material, lining & patterns, what a nightmare.

Hayla is the best. I came to her with my wedding dress just a few weeks before my wedding! She took her time with me and was patient, determined and she perfected everything beyond my expectations. She really catered to my needs and accommodated my cultural and religious preferences. not to mention, hayla is the sweetest person. Super sweet lady! I had my bridesmaid’s dress taken in and shorten a bit came out perfect. I also brought in my 2y/​o daughter’s flower girl dress to be taken in and also came out perfect.
I bought out dresses from brides by Demetrios. Scheduled an apt with Hayla on Sunday and it was ready right on time, (1 week) for both dresses. The price for both dresses were very reasonable. I will definitely be sending referrals her way, and definitely be back when I need any alteration done.

Hayla is amazing! She did alterations to my wedding dress had to take inches out of each side of very tough material. Added bead work and it turned out perfect! She is the sweetest person too! Very very pleased! I will always go to her for alterations in the future! Thank you!

BEST EVER!!! Seriously! So kind hearted and hard working! I went in halloween day with a costume with WAY too much fabric. She helped me so much and made it perfect!!! I will be taking all future alterations to this amazing woman.

I basically take everything to a tailor. Everything. So, I searched far and wide for a good tailor after moving to Scottsdale from Dallas. Finally found one that is top notch! Hayla is the sweetest. She knows how to alter clothing so that it will look it’s best (most flattering on you) and her customer service is second to none. Just took a pair of high-​waist shorts in to try out– cheap, fast, and high quality! The shorts are adorable now! I won’t be going anywhere else. Ever.

Hayla saved my wedding dress! It came with a lot of problems from the factory and I had brought it to David’s Bridal 4 times, each time they didn’t fix it completely, until the head seamstress there at David’s Bridal told me nothing more could be done «and you’re going to have to deal with it» (bumpy layers of fabric on my waist, too small at hips and the collar wasn’t even.)
I took it to Hayla and she said no problem at all! She figured out the problems with the layers and materials quickly, fixed it by hand and it turned out beautiful! Hayla really cared how I felt about the dress and her work, and that means so much! I would definitely recommend Hayla to anyone!
