Hayden Park

Been living here for a couple of months now and so far everything is great. The apt itself is spacious and has lots of storage room. No problem with parking, the community is very quiet, and the staff that works here is very kind and quick to fix things. I just called them a couple of minutes ago because there was a dead bird near my front door. Poor bird probably hit the window. Anyway, they’re on their way to pick the little guy up. Having the staff be truly helpful and friendly really makes a big difference! I’m happy I moved here and yes, I definitely recommend this apt complex!

Great community, Good Location. I have 2 apartments in this community. The pricing is great, and the staff is better. Anytime I have had maintenance issues Dan/​Dana gets its handled promptly.

I have lived in a lot of apartment complexes but Hayden Park is definitely my favorite. The grounds are always spotless and I love that there are so many trees and the grass is always green. Danaan and Dan in the front office are always so nice, helpful and actually know every residents name. I have never lived in a place where all the neighbors are so nice and friendly. I lost count on how many people introduced themselves on the day I moved in and offered to help with anything I may need. I can not recommend this place enough.

I’ve lived at Hayden Park for over 3 years now, and I highly recommend it to any prospective residents. The apartments are about the same size as the ones at San Tropez right down the street, except you’re going to pay a fair amount less at Hayden Park for essentially the same amenities. You really can’t beat the location either. You have plenty of restaurants and stores within walking distance, and a couple bars too. It’s right near the greenbelt, and close to Old Town and all attractions in that area, and it’s a 15 minute drive the airport. I’ve never had any issues with my neighbors, and the staff is super helpful whenever you have any issues, or need maintenance done on your unit. Though I’ve never borrowed any up to this point, they also have free movie rentals at the office, which is pretty neat, and I don’t think I’ve ever lived anyway that had that before. I also like being able to have my rent check come out of my account automatically every month. They have free pest control once a week if you ask for it, and you can replace your air filters free at any time. You do need renters insurance to live here, but even when you factor that in to the price, it’s still more affordable than most places in the area. I don’t have a pet, but plenty of folks do here, and everyone seems to clean up after their animal for the most part, and the landscaping around the complex is very nice. I don’t see myself leaving here any time soon, unless I have to move out of state or something like that.

I lived at Hayden Park for the last two years. I am moving out of state for work, but would recommend Hayden Park to others. Location is perfect, right next to the greenbelt, and with an easy drive into Old Town or to the 101. Management and maintenance techs are friendly, the complex is in good shape, and the price/​value is competitive with anything in the area. I especially like our large walk-​in closets and amount of storage space. The walls are also very thick; I’ve literally never heard my neighbors. This place is worth a look!

I have lived here almost 16 months and I have nothing but good things to say. The property is well-​kept and the Property Managers are exceptionally kind & helpful. Great location — love Old Town! No plans to move out anytime soon!

I took a tour of Hayden Park a while back, and I absolutely loved it! The front office staff is super friendly, the grounds are beautiful and well-​maintained, and they have a ton of different options which I appreciated. I’ve never been on an apartment tour before where random residents were so friendly and recommended it! Plus the location right by the greenbelt is awesome.
I ended up choosing a complex closer to where I work, but I still recommend this place to everyone I know that’s looking for a new place to live.

Hi im john i just renewed my lease for the 4^th year im very happy to live here. It feels just like family here… Dan and Dana the mgrs that run the complex are always very helpful… Dan the mgr went out of his way to make sure i got a new oven when my other one stopped working his fast attention is what i look for when i live in any apartment .I Totally recomend this place, you wont be dissapointed!!!

I’ve lived at a few apartment complexes in my life, and Hayden Park puts all the rest to shame. Was my stay perfect? Nope, but what is in life? I don’t value perfection, but I do value people who work hard to keep my satisfaction.
Folks, Dan and Daanan are the best in the industry. These guys were always quick to help with any issue that ever came up, and they always did it with a smile and a friendly demeanor. Same for the service guys. They were quick, efficient, and always helpful.
Why else should you live here? Hayden Park is located right in the middle of the fun part of Scottsdale. You can walk to great restaurants and bars. Old Town is an extremely cheap fare away. The neighbors? Quiet as a retirement home. Loved it!
Another awesome aspect is that HP has many options for apartments, including one-​story residences.
So if you’re sick of incompetent staff — or if you live in BFE and are tired of traveling to do anything fun, you should definitely check out Hayden Park for your next apartment home.

While living here in 2015 we counted down the days until we were out of here. We are constantly woken up at 2am due to people sneaking in and screaming at the pool. The pool hours are from 8am to 10 pm and in summer 7am-​11pm. We have told the office staff on numerous occasions about this problem and they continuously do nothing about it.
After one of the storms a tree branch broke and send gardeners out at 6:30 am on a Saturday to fix the tree. The tree branch was broken for about a week. We lived on the 2^nd flood and one of the stairs broke while my husband was on it. We told them about it. The apartment manager wasn’t in, so I reported this to the the manager’s assistant at the time. Her response was uncaring and didn’t have any urgency to get the stair fixed. When I told her she said I won’t be able to get this fixed until after the weekend because maintenance isn’t in on the weekends.
As far as the apartment itself. There is plenty of closet space throughout the apartment, including each room has a huge walk in closet. The sink is shallow, so whenever I wash dishes by hand water gets everywhere and the dish washer is on the smaller side. The oven they provide you with has no ability to view what you are cooking. In the «upgraded» apartment there is a washer and dryer in unit. If you don’t upgrade, you run the risk of not getting this luxury unless you get lucky. The property has plenty of space to walk your dogs but there are only 3 location to get poop bags.
One good thing about the apartment complex is its proximity to old town. This allows for quick travel to popular destinations and cuts down on traffic. During spring training the whole area gets overwhelmed with tourist and can cause long waits at your favorite restaurants.

I lived here for a year and not a complaint. But whenever I needed something or had a question, ask for Dan. He’s always on top of things and he makes the application process smooth.
Do I recommend this place, YES! I’ve had bad experiences with previous complexes. This place is clean, well built, maintain. I’ll miss it.

I have lived in a lot of apartments in my life and this is one of the nicer and affordable complexes I’ve lived in. There is a year round pool with a hot tub and a work out room. They let me use the fax whenever I need to for free.
The apartments are well built. Washer and dryer in unit is nice (and being from Chicago, not something I’ve EVER experienced before).
The layout of the apartment is acceptable, although it is a bit odd having a bigger guest bathroom than a master.
Since moving in, my experiences have been very consistent, honest, and pleasant. I’ll most likely stay here until I buy a house in a few years.

I’ve had two different apartments in this complex the first time I lived here I loved it! And this second go around is horrible! I’ve had multiple problems with the leasing office Damon gives attitude left and right and accuse you of doing things that didn’t happen. And management doesn’t do anything about it. If this is how they treat their residence now I won’t be renewing my lease or referring anyone to this complex. Poor job

I have never written a review for apartment complexes before, because apartment complexes are normally something of a headache that you just learned to deal with. Although I was very excited to move out of Arizona, I was actually really sad about leaving such a great apartment community and I have never had a positive experience like this with an apartment complex.
The office staff is always very responsive and professional, and I really felt that they were truly understanding and customer-​oriented. To me the true integrity of a business is not necessarily the lack of any problems ever, but how they handle the problems.
I did have some maintenance issues such as my stove stopping working and ceiling leaks, but Hayden Park handled all requests with pleasant professionalism, and I was more than happy with the results. I also had some difficult requests for the office since my job required traveling frequently, and they were always eager to cater and make my living at Hayden Park easier.
I recommended this place to my coworkers and friends back in Arizona, and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good, solid place to live where you can be trusted to be really taken care of by respectful, kind and professional staff.

I lived in a one bedroom unit on the first level at Hayden Park for a year and a half. The location was great. Close to Old Town and convenient shopping, pretty close to Tempe Marketplace, and within a reasonable distance for working in downtown Phoenix. The grounds were kept pretty nice. Occasionally there would be trash left outdoors by the younger crowd from a previous night, but almost every morning I saw one of the guys out picking up trash first thing. The office staff were always very friendly and timely with any questions or requests. I was impressed from the start that they remembered my name and which apartment I lived in from the beginning. The maintenance guys were also great and responded to me quickly. The layout of the apartment is what I liked most. It was great having the high counter in the kitchen and the sliding door looking outside. Having two closets in the bedroom was a real luxury. One of my favorite features of the apartment were all of the mirrors. I like bright and open-​feeling spaces, and the mirrors added so much to a space that could have otherwise felt small. It was not a very big apartment, yet for being just a one-​bedroom, it felt very spacious with all of the light. To give you a more complete picture, I will add that this wasn’t by any means a «fancy» upscale apartment. The buildings are not new, and my unit had not been remodeled. Occasionally there were things that needed to be fixed, just like one experiences anywhere they live. I thought the cost of the apartments was reasonable for the location — I explored other complexes, and I really felt this one offered the most bang for my buck. Of course I would have liked it to cost less. who wouldn’t? But for the area, it was fine. Overall, I had a very positive experience and highly recommend this apartment complex.

I lived here for two years and didn’t have any issues. I rarely needed to call maintenance, and when I did call the guy came out pretty fast. Office staff is friendly and the neighbors are great. The units aren’t new so don’t expect high end brand new amenities, but for what they have it’s a bargain. Would recommend.

I never write reviews but I lived here for almost 5 years ever since I left my home state in Wisconsin! My apartment had multiple leaks through it in the years and the parking lot floods BADLY every time it rains hard!!! The parking got so bad with water that it flooded INSIDE my car which the complex dismissed! Then when I moved out I cleaned the apartment from top to bottom (except the tub that for whatever reason wouldn’t get clean) and they charged me up the ass!!! The apartments are nice but they are VERY overpriced!!!

I love living here! It is quiet and the staff is amazing. Anytime I’ve needed anything, they’ve taken care of it on the same day. There has been no turnover and it’s been great working with the same people consistently since I’ve lived there. They always go above and beyond; in fact, when I needed a jump for my car, a staff member was right there and ready to help. I would recommend this complex to anyone!

Just finished a year lease here. I know it’s really popular to bag on every apartment complex on Unilocal,but this place is solid.
Pros:
The office staff is excellent, which I can very rarely say — Dan and Robin do an awesome job, have maintenance out immediately after you request it, and will help out it dire circumstances.
I once gave a friend coming into town the wrong key when he dropped by my job across town to pick it up, I called the office and asked them to let them in and they walked down and opened my apartment for my friends (after verifying my identity via email).
The community is quiet.
Prices are very reasonable.
The cons:
The apartments were built in the 80’s, and look like they were built in the 80’s, but have been maintained well. You get what you pay for, neither super cheap nor luxury.
