This place is nothing short of amazing. I had the 120 minute Lomi Lomi massage with Matt and it was the best massage I have ever received. He was attentive to my requests and had perfect pressure and technique. After the massage, they offer use of their showers and it felt like I was at an upscale spa. Give them a try– you won’t be disappointed!

My first time here and I got lomi massage from Jessica! AMAZING! This is a must try! I will be going back for sure!

You cannot ask for anything better than this place. It’s heaven on earth especially if you work out on regular basis and you need to relax your muscles. I enjoyed every part of their service from people to process to ambience to everything. EXCEPT, their cancellation method is a bad business practice… I wish i continued as a member, but i am disappointed with this practice… I was also told that i would have to pay regular price for all the credits i acrrued while i was a member… I am sure this is against some compliance policy. I will post this review not because of my hateful experience, but reviewers can consider this as the best massage therupatic place (just beware of precautions in this memebership rules)

Located in a small shopping center, the inside is very nice, quiet & blissful. They have a couple’s massage room as well & a small shop. We signed up for their online list & use their online gift certificate for a chocolate couple’s massage. Very nice massages and service. They have a waiting room where we can eat & drink herbal teas & snacks before & after. Very professional.

My wife and I went to Arizona for our 13^th anniversary and bought a Groupon for a 2-​hour Lomi Lomi massage.
We had never had this type of massage before so we weren’t sure what to expect. The massage was wonderful and relaxing. The movements were fluid and very nice.
We also added a steam shower at the end to take the oil off, this was a great addition as the massage used a lot of oil.

Ahhh what an experience.
I booked a couples’ 2-​hour lomi lomi for my fiancé and I on the day before our wedding. I had purchased 2 2-​hour groupons that I was excited to use.
Due to the craziness of that day we ended up getting there about 20 minutes late. They were very understanding and allowed us to either do the 2 hours as planned or to change our appointment to 90 minutes. We chose the latter because we had our rehearsal dinner that night. I had Kaitlyn, and I do not remember who my wife (fiancé at the time) had. All I know is that they were both fantastic. I had never had a lomi lomi massage before, but it was amazing.
After the massage we got to use their awesome shower (you get a bit oily) and then got some nice sorbet.
The only problem we had (not their faults) is that the groupon could not be used for a couples massage. If it was a subpar experience we might have put up a fight to get them to make an exception, but I paid knowing that we would be back to use the groupons before they expire. We have our (single) massages this weekend, and we are so excited to go back!

I had a Groupon for a 2 hour lomi lomi massage at Hawaiian Experience Spa while I was visiting Arizona with my sister. I called to schedule an appointment, and they were able to have 2 spots open at the same time for both of us without a problem. I’ve never had a lomi lomi massage before, and considering that I would have to be completely naked for a massage, I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect.
We checked in 20 minutes early, and we were then directed towards the locker room to change and to store our belongings. Each locker contained a robe, a pair of sandals and a piece of chocolate! After changing, we stayed in the lobby to fill out some paperwork. The lobby provided some water, fruit and other snacks to munch on.
I had Bethany as my massage therapist. I told her it was my first time having a lomi lomi massage, and she gave me an explanation on what to expect. I liked how she didn’t engage in too much talk during my massage, which allowed me to relax. If you prefer deep massages, I would definitely recommend her!
At the end of the massage, I was shown towards the fancy showers that had several water jets on both sides, one large shower head on top, and also one handheld shower head if I choose to use it. There were also shampoo/​conditioner, body wash, and even a face cleanser available to use. I liked how they also provided men’s shampoo/​conditioner for the guys who don’t want to smell like a girl when they come out of the shower. Having a shower at the end of a 2 hour massage feels AMAZING. You can also ask to use their hair dryer if you need one.
If I lived in Scottsdale, I would totally be a member at Hawaiian Experience Spa to take advantage of their deals. This is a wonderful spa, and would definitely love to come here again if I have the chance!

Nani was my massage therapist. She gave an amazing great pressure if you like deeper tissue massages. Love this spa! Sometimes new therapist may not meet expectations, but i will request her again. I highly recommend nani!

I’ve had several lomi lomi massages over the past few months from Kaitlyn and Mary. Both are amazing yet so unique in their styles that I have a hard time deciding who to make an appointment with!

Clean, friendly and most of all great service. I have tried several different types of treatments offered and am above satisfied with all of them. I have also had many different therapist’s and all have been wonderful. Highly recommend.

I cannot believe how good these guys are! It was my first time and I heard about these guys from Groupon!
My therapist was Julianna and she was nothing short of perfection, she didn’t try to up-​sell me for their products like other therapists usually have done in the past to me at other spas. She only encouraged them in a polite manner. Also, she recommended me natural products like organic coconut oil for my skin. I will definitely be back for my facials. Julianna was great, gentle and kind. She knew what she was doing and asked me often if I was feeling okay. Nothing beats being put in your comfort zone specially when dealing with skin. She was one of the nicest aesthetician I have ever came across & she smelled wonderful, lol.
They also offer membership for $ 59 a month which can be used for any service and they don’t expire, how cool is that? The facility is really clean & welcoming. It’s so good to have finally found a spa that will be my go-​to spot.

MAHALO to Mary for the most amazing sea salt scrub and Lomi Lomi massage!!! By far the most unique, relaxing, exotic massage my boyfriend and I have ever had, and we’ve had hundreds! The staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating. Very clean facility, with the Aloha spirit! So happy we found this place! Can’t wait to come back! We also enjoyed our facials with Akash:)

Always wanted to experience a massage or treatment here, but even with the 30% off sales, it’s still too costly for me– even during Christmas holidays when there’s BOGO sales. (I pay $ 50 for weekly 90 minutes with an LMT at SWIHA, who takes a cut from the service cost, and I tip an extra $ 20 for a great session– yes, I invest more than $ 3300 annually for weekly massages, plus I treat family and friends to massages every year, as well, so I’m not miserly. I will pay for great service with great value!) It is strongly suggested that the LMTS are tipped 18% on a service’s full price here at HES, so you will see just how much I’m saving at SWIHA**. I finally visited for the first time a few days ago, because I received an email blast that HES was selling off their remaining Malie Organics body and home products, which HES has used for many years. I recently arrived back from a vacation in Oahu and left with a 7.5 oz Pikake-​scented body cream, which cost me $ 32 (orig. price). I was happy to hear about the sales, since I would be able to stock up on more body cream (I wanted Pikake, Mango nectar, and Koke’ e), as well as buy the respective $ 28 hand soap gels at 30% off (HES members, who pay a monthly fee, get 35% off). Alas, there were only a few items left to purchase, most of which were home fragrances, such as diffusers and room fresheners. For body/​beauty items, there were $ 30 10 mL perfume oils and some body cleansers. I left with two perfume oils in Mango Nectar and Koke’e (still a hefty $ 45 with the discount).
The front, with the cashier/​desk and merchandise stations, felt very cramped. I saw an office next to the cashier/​desk that looked disorganized, with paperwork and cardboard boxes. I spied a narrow corridor lined with doors that had name plaques on them. I can only assume that the showers and other amenities that could warrant the exorbitant prices here are somewhere in the back, but I didn’t get that exclusive feeling as I shopped in that cramped front room, so I don’t think I would come back to try any of their services here. Maybe the Chandler location is bigger? I may check it out the next time an email blast notifies me of sales.
Oh, and lastly, when I asked about whether there were more Malie in stock, I was told that all they had was what was out on display. I didn’t get the warm fuzzy feelings I’d get from other sales people trying to make a sale, or get you to come back, be it at touristy Oahu, or more locally here in the valley. Just the standard welcome greeting when you walk in. I actually felt like I was intruding, as I looked over their products. And this after my saying that I just returned from Oahu a few days before. No «how was your visit,» or any other friendly interactions. So easy to cash in on the buzz I was still feeling from vacation. I actually wish I could return the items I purchased, now that I’m writing this all down!
Be sure to check the receipt when you sign… I was handed a ticket for the previous customer who rang up with a discount on a $‘107 service. It might’ve even been to my benefit, but it wasn’t the right ticket showing my fragrance purchase, so I wanted the correct one. Why? I don’t know, since I won’t be able to return themSee, another reason why I didn’t enjoy my experience here.
**When I first visited Oahu in 2011, I went for a massage at a spa at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, which accepted Spa Finder gift certificates. While the $ 200+ one-​hour service, not including tip that cost me $ 40 for a service that is short 30 minutes of my usual, was enjoyable, it wasn’t anything different as that I would get from my top favorite therapist at SWIHA at the time. Not even the ambience, extra amenities, and the friendly conversation during the massage, of which I usually prefer silence for a more relaxing and meditative session, made up for the higher cost.

I am a new customer to this location but the experience is just as good as the one I had in Chandler.
Rooms seem a bit smaller then the ones I had seen in Chandler but I have only seen one so I dont know.
Waiting area in this location is nicer than the one in Chandler. Havent tried the shower here but I can imagine it being too bad.

We went to Hawaiian Experience Spa today because of all the wonderful reviews we read. They were spec on. This is the best place in town for a body scrub and massage 90 minute combo. This is type of spa service is not easy to find and until you experience it you don’t know what it is to be completely relaxed. We had Sarah and Dennis.
Sarah was very attentive to my personal preferences and needs. I had the amazing Hawaiian Delight. It was pure bliss. She was helpful and knowledgable and extremely pleasant. She made my experience at this spa unforgettable. I look forward to my next appointment with her.

Dennis exceeded all my expectations. I have been to a lot of spas and no one compared to Dennis. Starting with an invigorating salt scrub and ending with a Lomi Lomi massage that took me to relaxation heaven. I can’t recommend Dennis more. He is a rare find and blows away all the other spas that charge an arm and a leg and deliver nothing more than atmosphere but little else.
If you try Hawaiian experience Spa in Scottsdale you will never go anywhere else.

I have never heard of Hawaiian massage. But for some of it, you get totally naked!
An early anniversary gift, my wife booked a couples massage package. It’s in an unassuming strip mall in North Scottsdale. Like the name says, it’s all hawaiian themed… music, décor, staff. Our package included sauna, massage, steam room.
Private changing room with robes and sandals. Then 30 minutes in a customizable sauna, with music and cold water. Sweat drenched, into a giant, gorgeous shower to rinse off, towels and soaps provided. Next, a lomi lomi massage… which for me was a new experience. The set up is just like a regular massage, except you lie on a table completely nude! The therapist discreetly and privately covers your nether regions with a folded towel. The point is to create long, head-​to-​toe flowing strokes and underwear impedes that process. They use warm oil and massage both sides of your body.
It was wonderful!
Next, into a private steam room with 6 shower heads, tropical soaps and shampoos, and towels to wash off the oil. After changing back into our civvies, they had a tasty treat of frozen lemon and coconut ice cream waiting for us.
Wow! A great initiation into a new style of pampering. They offer other services too, like facials, standard massage, etc, not just the lomi lomi. One thing. if you you use the shower services after, bring a hair brush and some toiletries… those are not provided.

I highly recommend the lomi lomi coconut massage! I was in the Spa just yesterday and had a massage of a lifetime by Matt. Plenty of warm coconut oil on a comfortable table followed by continuity of movement. Leaves your skin feeling baby soft and ready for the Arizona summer. This massage leaves all other massages I’ve had at the starting gate. None of that start and stop feeling you have with other massages. The strokes are long so that the entire length of your body feels relaxed. Having just moved and confronting other business decisions, I felt uptight upon entering the Spa. The massage dissipated any tension and today I still feel wonderful. Give the lomi lomi a try, you’ll be back and so will I.

Had a standard massage this evening that was far from standard! Dorena was my masseuse and she was incredible. I went in very tight and stiff from a long weekend of work and when done, I felt totally rejuvenated!
I highly recommend this spa, and Dorena, and it is in my must do list, when in the Phoenix area again!
OK…I need to update this. I went yesterday, along with my girlfriend. While I was getting the standard massage, she had a Lomi lomi massage and was telling me all night, I have to get one, much better than a regular massage. Said I didn’t know what I was missing, etc… So, we called and they were able to squeeze us in this morning before we left town. We each signed up for the Lomi lomi. I will admit… she was right, Holy Cow how this massage felt. My therapist was Becca. Im speechless, I felt like I was melting during the massage with how good it felt. I don’t think I can ever get a standard, or deep tissue massage ever again. I don’t know what or how she did it, except that I felt euphoric all day. I cant recommend a lomi lomi massage more, just go for it! It is one decision you will NOT regret!
I am now dreaming of the double Lomi Lomi massage…2 therapists! I am counting the days till im back in the area!
