Four Peaks Neurology

First things first, I totally get why the wait times are so long. I waited 50min to go into the room, another 10 for the nurse. They really sit with you and ask you to tell your whole story in your own words, which is good! The check in lady was really nice and patient with me. The nurse practitioner was working with me when I struggled to find my words and I totally thought she was a doctor. I’m not sure if they can do much for me because my brain scans are showing normal but they did help explain my symptoms.
After I saw the doctor I felt really at ease, he came highly recommended and normally I’m very skeptical about doctors and the medical field in general. However they really wanted to hear my case and asked if I preferred medication or a scan or what. My case is kind of an anomaly so I chose no meds. He also insured me I could still drive legally as that was major concern.

RUDE STAFF & LONG WAITS
I time stamped my last appointment. 30 min wait in lobby, brought back just to wait another 30 mins, and wait some more. I was there for over two hours and saw staff less than an hour of that time, the doctor for 6 mins. Needless to say, when I originally asked if I could leave and come back, the receptionist pointed to the disclaimers on the wall and reminded me that I would have to pay if I’m late!
Just left there (I HAD a follow-​up appt), I had already been waiting for 40 mins. I asked to reschedule. The gal who was to reschedule me just kept justifying the wait. She even said that the practice «typically runs late unfortunately». Her reason was they spend time with patients. That’s fine with me, but if you know you guys usually run over, then how about allow more time between appts??? Oh wait, because they want to book as many patients for money and could care less how long they have to wait.
Over two hour in a doctor’s office, in which the majority is wait time, is UNACCEPTABLE. Also unacceptable is making excuses to patients.
I would never recommend this place.

This rating reflects on the support staff, not Dr. M. I had to wait ONE HOUR AND TWENTY MINUTES for my scheduleD appointment. For the first 40 minutes, no one advised me of any reason for a delay. When I told the receptionist I had been waiting 40 minutes, she said, Yeah? So? And then asked who I was. When we confirmed I had already checked in (online and in person), she agreed to investigate. She called me to the window later to advise they were running behind. When I finally got into the exam room, the MA said she knew I had been waiting a long time and that sometimes it gets like that. The NP said, its been one of those days. No office should run this way with arrogant staff who care very little for patient satisfaction or comfort.

Dr Moschonas is the best doctor I’ve ever been too. I’ve had a spinal chord injury for two years and been to countless doctors and specialists, yet none of them could give me a diagnosis or even a guess what was wrong. Dr Moschonas knew almost immediately. I’m FINALLY on the road to treatment!

I have been a patiet at Four Peaks Neurolgy going on 6 years with Dr. Moschonas. He spends all the time you need dealing with your neurlogy issues. I recently had brain surgery if it had not been for Dr. Moschonas’s experiance and compassion I am not sure what I would have done. Also FPN has this awesome patient portal. It is easy to navigate and you can write your Dr. a detailed message and they actually write you back. In this portal you can pay a bill update your health issues confirm appointments and write to your Dr. plus many more features. It is the best Dr. portal out there. The staff are all very friendly and careing.

Dr. Moshanas is by far one of the best doctors i have ever been to see. he is well worth the wait and the staff is terrific…
