They checked my car for free, but you need to make an appointment.
The told me what was wrong with it and the price was competitive and a little more affordable. I lived close by so they drove me back home as well and took off $ 10 from über expense when I went back to pick up my car.
They fixed exactly what I payed for. I asked if they could take a look at some other things but they didn’t. I would say almost 5 stars, if I could o would give 4,5 stars.

My dad scoped out this spot 7 years ago when I first moved to Arizona — he’s a car guy and wanted to make sure that I was in good hands if I needed anything for my car. I’ve gone here for everything from alignments & oil changes to replacing the breaks. It’s conveniently located next to Discount Tire so I would get my tires rotated there and then have them send it the First Class for whatever else I need to get done.
Ray has been great at explaining any issues with car without coming off as condescending — he’s extremely direct.
I’ll continue to come here for anything with my car and will happily refer friends who are in need of a great auto shop.

Heard back from the owner Ray. Needless to say, he admired my passion.
He says they do their own rebuilds. Not true, since he is the one who stated to me personally the jobs go out. I’d be glad to show you the receipt, Ray. The engine heads shouldn’t be pitted from electrolysis nor should the gaskets blow nor should the rear main seal leak, if they were rebuilt properly.
What you can do is refund my $ 3500. No I know you can’t and won’t.

Like the rest of the reviews these guys are amazing at what they do and understand the importance of customer service… ray the owner made me feel very comfortable and spoke to me like a friend would… extremely honest and cut cost for me where he could (they are a business and need to make money) because I had an expensive repair… I dropped my car off at 9 in the morning… got a call an hour later to let me know about everything… and then I picked my car up later that after noon… can’t say enough about the experience and will always come to them for anything I need and will always recommend them

Hands down the most honest auto shop I have ever encountered. Let me start with the fact they saved me literally at least a couple thousand dollars.
They did a (free) diagnostic on my vehicle and told me they think it could be a transmission problem and that if I go to a Nissan Dealership to get this fixed, it may be covered under the extended warranty. Sure enough, I go to a Nissan dealership and it is totally covered. New trannys cost at least 2 thousand dollars, and because of their honesty and moral, I didn’t spend a dime.
Not only that, but the manager (maybe owner?) Keith told me I could call him at any time if I have questions about what the Nissan auto shop relayed to me.
I have finally found an auto repair shop I trust and will be a loyal customer to.

I can’t praise Ray and his team enough. They provide such honest, reasonable service. They have even dealt with conniving auto insurance companies for me, when I was in a car accident (which wasn’t my fault). They also offer to take me home when repairs will take awhile. I’ve never had an issue!

Soooo let me first off start by saying I am SO SAD I discovered these guys my last year of living in Arizona, and if you ever need anything done with your car, YOU MUST COME HERE. Quick back story: I went to a very well known company (who I will leave unnamed) to get a $ 20 oil change bc I was a bit of a sucker and trying to get a good deal. They came out and told me I had about a million things wrong with my car and I’d be looking at spending a few grand. I was not amused with this and also doubted them since my car was running perfectly fine and there were no leaks etc etc, so I went to First Auto to get a look over and second opinion. Multiple people had recommended me to them and I’d be there once before so felt very comfortable going back again. These guys are extremely thorough and extremely HONEST. I have never dealt with such a fair company either. Turns out nothing needed to be fixed with my car and they saved me so much money by not trying to trick me into fixing unnecessary things. They even gave me a ride to and from my apartment. I worked with Ray the first time I came here and then Keith the second time and they are both awesome. I really don’t have enough good things to say about these guys. And if you don’t believe me, when you go into the office there, you’ll see the place is completely covered with thank you letters from hundreds of people who also appreciate their honesty and efficiency.
So to sum up this small novel, if you need anything done to your car, this is the place to go. They will be 100% honest, efficient, helpful and easy to deal with. I am sad they aren’t located to where I’m moving in California. So if you live in Arizona, take advantage of how awesome this place is.

I’ve had nothing but good experiences here. I have always gone to the Toyota dealer with car help but when they quoted me around $ 1400 for new engine mounts, I knew I had to goget quotes elsewhere. A co-​worker recommended First Class Auto, and they were very professional and were willing to help right from the start. After a free evaluation, they quoted me half the amount the dealer did. I went with them & my car was fixed quickly & they did a great job. I have taken my car there for anything that needs to be done since.

A couple of weeks ago I had to slowly roll into the Discount Tire to get new tires and of course I needed to get an alignment as well. They suggested this place since it was right behind them and they were able to take care of my car very quickly.
I was also very happy that they checked everything and did not try to sell me on a cap or a filter. I feel this was the first time I walked in for a service and simply only got that service and not pushed to do other work.
Its close to home, nice people, I will come back again when my car needs it however hopefully it’s not too soon.

Never, will I come back here or recommend this place to anyone. I walk in the door at 9am and the guy behind the desk sighed loudly and then said «goddamnit»… I wanted to turn around right there but for some reason the 4.7 rating on here made me stick it out.
I told them what was going on with my car and that I had a tail light out as well and if that they would change it out while checking the other issues. I let them know that already had the extra tail light bulb in my car sitting in the passenger seat — so they wouldn’t have to buy one or take any extra time trying to figure out what kind of tail light bulb my car needed.
I got a call back at 2 in the afternoon saying that nothing was wrong with my car and that they were «TOO BUSY» to fix my tail light… ummm…you’re «too busy»? Too busy to make a sale, too busy to make money, too busy to satisfy a paying customer? Tell me how any of that works, because none of that makes sense to me. What’s even better is that when I went to pick up my car, the entire staff was sitting behind the desk not doing a damn thing. All of them, they weren’t even eating lunch which might have been an excuse… maybe.
I can’t believe any of this. You tell me nothing is wrong with my car, but yet fail to fix the one thing that was and the part was sitting in the passengers seat??? I’m dumbfounded to be quiet honest.
Never coming back or recommending First Class Auto to anyone that I know. The worst car service I have ever received.
Highly suggest Pep Boys across the street though!

Best place to break down in the valley. This owner will offer alternatives where possible and is ingeniously resourceful. Not only mechanics here but good people who price fairly and dont need to be dishonest to drive business. It can be Grand Central Station so practice a little patience and let this shop work it’s magic.

I got my car detailed here and it looked AMAZING!!!
I dropped my car off around 9am and it was ready around 5pm (it would have taken less time, but they got EVERY SINGLE DOG HAIR OUT!!! :)
I had an oil stain from peanut butter on my front passenger seat and it’s gone!
I spilled hot chocolate all over the gear shift and driver side seat and you couldn’t even tell that anything had ever been spilled!
It really looked like it was BRAND SPANKING NEW!!!
I was VERY happy with the results!

These guys are straight up honest! I had an issue that turned out to fortunately be nothing serious. They took my car in, inspected & tested it and didn’t charge me a dime. I’m very impressed with these guys and if I need repairs in the future, I will definitely be coming here! Thanks guys!

They still are the best. At Rays suggestion, I ended up trading in my old cadillac with the north star engine. It started having all sorts of troubles. Ray would fix one thing and a month later another issue needed to be attended to. He was always fair with his pricing and made sure the job was done. Even if he went over his quote he’d honor that price.
So it was with mixed emotion I took his advice. Here was this cash cow for him if he wanted. He could of kept taking my money to keep that beast in the rode and I would have happily paid. I honestly felt sad about getting a new warrantied car because I’d have to start going to the dealership for my maintenance and wouldn’t be working with Ray.
As it turns out I still need Ray on occasion and couldn’t be happier to have him in my corner. Twice now I’ve had some minor issues that weren’t covered by my warranty due to wear and tear because I now drive like an asshole with my new ride.
Thanks for everything Ray you and your guys are the best!

I’m always a little skeptical taking my car to get work done, seeing as I am a girl who doesn’t know squat about vehicles, but Ray did not make me feel uncomfortable at all. He was patient with me, informative and helpful.
I’ve taken my car in on two occasions now — the first was to correct some alignment issues (for the low price of $ 62. so cheap!) and the second was to figure out why my check engine light was on. Turned out I just needed a new gas cap which was also a quick, inexpensive fix.
I would definitely feel comfortable taking my car to First Class Auto for any future problems, and recommend to others.
