*update* I finally was able to schedule an appointment to use my facial voucher. THE DAY OF they called and told me they had to reschedule me. I was pissed because it had already been difficult and took months for me to work around THEIR schedule. Since I was pissed, they magically were able to keep my appointment. The facial went well, but I will not ever be going back to this place because of how unpredictable it is.

What a nightmare. I had an appointment this morning at 9:30 for a massage and a facial — it’s my 70^th birthday and this was my treat to myself. I arrived as instructed at 9:15, filled out the paperwork and was taken to the back to change into a robe and slippers. Then I was told to sit on the sofa. The area was dim and the music was a bit too loud.
I don’t find waiting to be relaxing especially if the only thing i can do is twiddle my thumbs or look at my watch. I waited 10 minutes then went out to the front desk and asked if I had my appointment time right — they said and yes and someone would be with me shortly. I waited another 5 minutes then went out to the desk again. This time they said «he will be here in a few minutes». I said, «you mean he isn’t even in the building?» They said no, but he had texted them and was on his way. By now I’d been there 30 minutes. I got changed back and left — he still wasn’t there. This salon was a 25 minute drive for me — each way. For nothing but stress, which is the last thing I needed. Did I mention we are moving this weekend? This was supposed to be my treat from all the stress in my life right now.
So totally unprofessional.

Great clean atmosphere! The people are so nice and do a professional job at all times. I love it when you can have intelligent conversations with the staff while my hair is getting done! I can’t wait to book my salt scrub, facial, and reflexology with them!

I visited on an Amazon local deal that was for a massage and a facial. I rarely treat myself to these, but have had enough to at least know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived to a nicely designed spa and was greeted by a kind woman behind the desk with water or coffee and directed to the changing room to put on a very comfortable robe and pair of slippers. This is about where the pleasant experience stopped.
Once I was taken back for my massage, within the first few minutes my masseuse’s cell phone went off for several seconds. Which was annoying but I would’ve gotten over. However, she proceed to take several minutes to figure out how to respond back via text, without even stepping out of the room and her phone making loud clicking noises with every type. I was hoping the massage it self would make up for it but unfortunately not. The hot stones were cold and were very wet. I was freezing during the entire massage to due so much cool water sloshing around on top of the lotion applied first. Not only that, but the masseuse dropped the stones 4 times, one of which was on my head. Through all that when I got up, my body felt okay and I was ready the my facial.
I needed another massage after the facial just to calm down. This was the most painful facial I have ever experience. I believe it was at least effective with getting everything out of my pores, but the facial lasted about 30 minutes longer than schedule and the only things completed were a very short cleanser at the beginning with steam and then the remainder of the time was spend on extractions only. I thought this was great except I was in so much pain and two days later my face still hurts and I developed hives a couple hours after the service. I’ve never had a reaction to skin care products before and I’ve used several different kinds. I was told to put Neosporin on the areas that bled to avoid scabbing, and I did, but they still scabbed over. So I walked away with hives, scabs, one of my worst breakouts ever and a face in pain.
My experience was far from relaxing and not what I had hoped for at all, I will never go back and would never recommend anyone to try this salon, even with a deal, it’s not worth the discounted price, let alone the real price.

My husband bought me a deal chicken for a massage. It was getting close to expiring and I decided to treat myself. The receptionist was very attentive on the phone as well as professional when I booked my appointment. Also was good when I arrived.
It is apparent the owners have put a lot of thought into the design of the place and it is lovely. Very relaxing atmosphere and lovely changing rooms and décor.
I was shown the changing room by the receptionist and changed into a robe and slippers that were very nice.
Yolanda greeted me when I was ready and lead me into the massage room. Other than her telling me her name, there were no questions or instructions provided (other than lie face down on the table). She is very pleasant and seems sweet.
Unfortunately for me, the massage was very mediocre/​sub-​standard. Too much oil was used and applied with very short choppy strokes. She never asked me if the pressure was okay (actually too light) or if everything was okay. Don’t get me wrong I appreciate a silent therapist during a session. However, when working on someone for the first time, there should be some «check-​in» time. She didn’t ask me what I liked or preferred either. There was a form to fill out that did ask medical history and reason for visit. I hope she read it, but I wasn’t sure.
Overall the session was fast and choppy and I did not feel connected when done. It was apparent that Yolanda was not used to «feeling» what was under her hands or exploring the tissue and waiting for a response to see if I was relaxing.
After turning over I had to ask her to adjust the bolster under my legs to my knees as it was very uncomfortable and she never checked to see if it was in the right place!
She totally skipped my abdomen (which I find is fairly common out here in AZ), but it is such an important part of the body and should be addressed during a session.
Like I said, I am sure she is a nice person. But I would NEVER pay $ 90 for a massage from her!
She was mindful of wiping off the bottom of my feet and putting my slippers on so I wouldn’t slip on the floor from all of the oil!
When I was done and went to the front desk the receptionist asked me how it was and I told her just so-​so. She wanted to know if was the massage or the overall visit. I told her the massage and she acted sort of uncomfortable and just kind of skipped any sort of apology or offer to talk to the manager.
If this is the kind of service they offer, I will predict this place won’t be in business very long. You really need to stand out in this business and offer excellent services by experienced people.
There was nothing about my experience there that I would ever go back. They didn’t seem interested in even having me return.
BTW, I did massage for over 25 years and taught massage for over 8 years at the community college level. I know excellent massage work and was very disappointed in my session here.

Had my hair cut there about a month ago by Patty and without a picture she gave me the perfect cut. I had such a great experience I came back for another cut and a facial. Patty was off and as I had limited time I had Daniel. What a treat! BEST facial I’ve ever had and he also cut my hair. It looks and feels wonderful! The shampooing part was also to die for. Quite a relaxing day without a huge price. They also have these organic awesome shots with antioxidants and whatnot. Must try

This was my first visit to this salon and I was very impressed. Daniel cut and colored my hair perfectly. The atmosphere is very calm and inviting. I will definitely be back.

WORST HAIR CUT I’VE HAD IN YEARS!!! !! I received a gift certificate to Eudocia Salon & Spa for the Holidays. I was desperately in need of a trim, especially since my boyfriend is returning from Afghanistan this Friday, I wanted to look extra special for him. I advised Rachel that I have very think and curly hair as I had arrived with pin straight hair and felt I should some how warn her of what she was getting in to. I specifically stated I was very nervous about the experience mainly because I have an amazing stylist who knows exactly how to handle my crazy hair. I must have repeated myself more than 5 time that I just wanted to freshen up the cut I already had by trimming the ends by less than an inch to get rid of the dry ends from my constant styling. I informed her again of how curly my hair is and that it’s best that she wash and straighten my hair before even thinking about taking the scissors to it. She fought me on my request stating she knows what cult hair is all about and how to cut it wet then style it.
I watched Rachel like a hawk as she cut my hair, half inch by half inch, slowly and steadily. She spent so much time slowly, parting, combing and cutting while I shrank in my chair and winced at every snip. I finally had to tell her enough cutting of the length, freshen up the layers and please put the scissors away. I made mention how I’ve been growing my hair out for 3 years, which is why I only wanted a very specifically stated TRIM! Not a fucking NEW hairstyle! Rachel seemed to concede but I felt her continue on. Finally the cut was over.
On to the blow and style. It became very obvious that Rachel doesn’t have the first clue about styling curly hair into a straight look. She put so much gunk and product in my hair that it does not need. Trust me, I tackle my mane on a daily basis, using the technique that my usual stylist help foster. I specifically asked for a bouncy, volumeness look. In the end my hair was flat and greasy looking, very uneven and a whopping 2 ½ inches shorter! Rachel tried teasing my hair but unfortunately all the crap she put on it weighed it down. Some areas were still noticeably waivey. And when I pointed it out she gingerly stated, «well your hair is really curly and thats as straight as I could get it». I grit my teeth as I walked up to the front desk to check out, I paid the required $ 10 tip per the gift certificate and stormed out.
After taking a few days to calm down, I recently called back to advise what a terrible experience I had with Rachel and was basically politely waived off with a «would you like to come in and have her fix it for you?». Seriously!!! Are you out of your fucking mind!!! She butchered my hair the first time why would I EVER let her near my hair again… That’s all they could offer as well as their condolences for my experience. Like I said WORST HAIR CUT IN YEARS!!! I now have to spend more $$$ going to my usual stylist to have it «fixed» which is going to require more cutting… I’m so pissed off! Fuck how aesthetically pleasing the salon is, the quality and purpose of a salon is the hairstylist. I don’t care if I’m having my hair cut in the fucking White House itself, we go to the beauty salon to walk out looking and feeling beautiful, not angry and on the verge of tears! I wouldn’t recommend this salon to my worst enemy. Hair is such an important aspect of a women’s look and presence and she fucked all that up for me!!!
Oh by the way-​per Rachel-​she lived in Dc and cut and styled the hair for the entire Bush family, including Jenna. I call utter and complete bullshit on that! For someone who has supposedly been doing hair for 14 years, she sure did hack my hair up like a fucking newbie!
