She was a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the State University of New York at Buffalo until she moved in January 1996 to Phoenix. She practiced traditional allergy for 18 years and then, in 1975, began incorporating the principles of Environmental Medicine into her pediatric allergy practice. She is a certified specialist in Environmental Medicine.
