I always enjoy playing Apache. Great layout that is a bit more forgiving than some of the other courses. Apache is always a good test but never leaves a «bitten» feel like Geronimo Chricuaha and Cochise can leave. Apache has nice views and spectacular eighteenth hole that has two green to choose from. Gotta go for the left green if you are a man. It is a tiny green guarded by huge boulders and a creeck/wash in front. it is directly below the Apache clubhouse and steakhouse so everyone can laugh at the shot you just left short in the wash thanks to the prevailing wind. I heard Bubba hit driver, 6 iron into this par 5. unreal. The right green is still tricky but there’s no wash to carry or spectators. Apache has a nice range that is downhill but never into the sun. Their putting and chipping areas are the smallest in the Desert Mountain complex. You must visit the Apache Steakhouse for some incredible food and views that are out of this world.
