History

Established in 2006.

Joy Cervantes founded Cervantes CPA Firm, P.C. in May of 2006. As President and Founding member, Joy has over 28 years of tax and accounting experience. She serves as a trusted advisor for her clients, and specializes in providing proactive accounting, tax and consulting solutions for the real estate development, healthcare, professional services, wholesale, manufacturing and distribution industries.

Joy has earned a Masters in Taxation and Bachelor of Science in Accounting – both from Arizona State University. She is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, and holds a Personal Financial Planning Certificate.

Business Owner

Joy started her career in 1983 as a Controller for a Real Estate Developer while attending Arizona State University. She assisted with the real estate development firm, as it grew from one to sixteen companies that handled commercial, residential and apartment developments in the Valley.

Joy graduated ASU with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 1986. January 1987 she entered the public accounting field with a Certified Public Accounting Firm in Scottsdale, Arizona.
