Overpriced items so they can continually have«50% off» sales. $ 14 for three pairs of toddler socks? They are well made, but I wish they wouldn’t play all these games with higher prices and then lowering them and offering coupons for return deals, etc. We just got tired of it and no longer shop there. Also, after a few visits we have found it’s hard to get help in the store. We went today right when they opened and the blonde woman at the front desk barely greeted us. I asked where they had the play table for the kids(i had my toddlers with me) and she said they took it out for the holidays.(Great — I purposely came here to shop for my kids and now you are making it harder for me.) And she never asked if I needed help with anything the entire time, and we were the only ones in the store. It was 10am on a Sunday. She was glued to the computer screen. If she was working on a system problem that’s fine but she should have said, «I have to fix this thing but let me know if you need any help» etc. so we would know she even cared. We got a few things but will not return after we all agreed later it is just the biggest rip off and they have cuter stuff at Target actually that’s also Carter’s brand. Also you should know their things run REALLY small — i have 2-year-old twins and even the Carter’s size 4 barely fits them, so be sure to buy large if you do shop here. But you won’t see us there.

I think shopping for clothes for baby-to-be has replaced shopping for me! I am full steam ahead in preparing for Baby to make her arrival in April and with that comes stocking the closet full of clothes… and boy can that get pricey! However, I was told that Carter’s has amazing sales and pretty decent prices so I stopped in for a visit. I was happy to catch them on a day where everything in the store was 50% so needless to say, I did some serious damage. I walked away with a closet full of clothes for the first several months of the baby’s arrival. The clothes are really cute here and they have a wide variety of styles to choose from. I especially appreciate their onesie department because they sell packs of three onesies so you’re getting some bang for your buck. I walked away with plenty of onesies, pants and of course dresses! Besides clothes, they also have socks, hats, mittens, bows, headbands and any other child accessories you need. I’m happy they have a stand alone store in the Valley and also appreciate that stores like Babies R Us sell their clothes as well!

On the prowl for some new socks for the baby, I popped in here the other day. I was pleasantly surprised by the selection. They have tons of cute clothes for babies and kids of all ages. I found what I was looking for and was happy to see that the(six pack) socks I found were on sale for«buy one get one 50% off.» However, even with the sale price, I thought $ 26 for 12 pairs of tiny socks seemed a bit pricey. Nonetheless, I liked this store. The employees were friendly enough, there is plenty of cute clothing to choose from, and there is plenty of parking outside of the store as well. I’m sure I’ll return eventually, but not for awhile as at the time of this writing, Baby M has everything he needs and more!
