Solid work these guys do! Rick tinted a car of mine 4 years ago. Not only was it perfectly done but 4 years later it still it looked great and I never had a single issue. I just went back with my new car and once again, his work is top notch. He’s not pushy about selling you anything you don’t need, just extremely knowledgable about explaining your options. He even gave me a loaner car while he was working on it. Two thumbs up!

These guys are truly 5 stars! I am incredibly picky with my cars, I’m the only one that washes it, cleans it, etc and i eas blown away by their work!
They took true care of the car and the tint is so well applied it looks almost factory… to the untrained eye people would think its factory. I will have all of my cars tinted here in the future.

Owner is super friendly and not pushy with his products. I didn’t go with a top of the line film and I was treated equally as someone who brought in a Ferarri not a econobox. Price was very reasonable and no surprises. Tint job looks great will be back. Believe the reviews on this one!

Look, people, we live in Arizona. It’s hot here — surface of the sun hot. Ever burn your arm on the car window or the seat belt buckle? You know you have. That’s why quality tint installed by a quality tint shop is not a luxury here, it’s a necessity. So you can mess around with some dude in a mobile tint van, or the guy giving you the hard sell at the carwash, or you can spend the money you know you need to spend to get your car tinted right the first time. Rick and his crew are professionals — this is what they do full time. They sell the highest quality film and take the time to do a quality installation. I have had a couple of cars tinted here, one with 3M Crystalline, the other with Photosync and can say, without a doubt, that I would never go anywhere else or recommend anyone go anywhere else. Sure, it’s expensive, but my car is the second most expensive thing I’ve ever bought (after my house) so worrying about the cost of tint seemed a bit much. Do the right thing — tint your investment at Cactus Tint — your arms will thank you in July and August.

Just took two BMWs to Rick straight from the body shop for some clear bra work. One front bumper and one for the running boards. Solid work, very friendly and meticulous.

Got my Outback tinted at this location mainly because this is the only place that carries Spectra Photosync heat-​resistive tints. Due to some car delivery issues, I had to reschedule my appointment twice. Rick was helpful and flexible. At the location, Rick convinced me to get the right temperature of tint after physically showing the differences on different vehicles. Pricing was as-​discussed and straightforward. If you’re looking for good quality tints with a knowledgeable staff, you can’t go wrong with these guys.

Back in late June I contacted Cactus Tint via phone and email. I spoke with the owner Rick directly. I told him about my horrible 1^st experience with a previous shop. He took the time and patience to explain about his products after I told him the details and he had a look over the photos I sent him of the bad tint job by the previous shop. He told me «If your not happy go back and get a refund, we will make you happy!» So after some delay and more research I did just that and made an appointment in late July. Being they are a busy shop with high volume you must book 2+ weeks in advance. The shop is very clean and modern a small seating area with TV WiFi and coffee. I went with the Suntek 35 in front and 18 in rear (legal front limits). The tint looks lighter on my car because it’s a lighter colored vehicle. From certain angles and depending on the weather if overcast or not it appears darker. It’s not by the tint shade but also by the color car you have that determines how light or dark it will appear in broad daylight. I had my windows actually meter lower (had someone from Cactus meter them out of curiosity) they came out to 27% front and 12% rear, interesting! It’s about function, performance and safety not «Looking cool gangster 5% blackouts»! Rick and his employees did a wonderful job on the tint job itself. My only reasoning behind 4 stars is because of the tint performance of the product itself. I don’t really feel much heat rejection vs having no tint. I personally wish I had gone with a different product with better heat rejection maybe Photosync (70% TSR) however that would not have been within my budget that i’m aware of. Oh well I still like how the car looks! As far as being able to see at night which had been an initial concern it’s not an issue at all. But anything lower than the above mentioned percentage and I would have had problems at night for sure! Thanks Rick I appreciate your business and great service!!!

Definitely recommend Cactus Tint great service and Awesome work i just had my Chevy suburban and Uncles BMW X5 done they did an excellent job, Rick provides great service and impeccable window tinting! I found Cactus Tint while searching Unilocal for a new tint shop. Previously I had been going to Quality Bumper, but needed to find a company that did higher quality work and would install 3M tint.
Rick is extremely helpful and knows exactly what will work best for your vehicle. You get what you pay for when it comes to window tint and clear bras. I will only do 3M Crystalline on any of my vehicles and recommend it to anyone who wants the best quality tint out there. The job they do is always prefect, and I would trust them with any vehicle. Rick has amazing customer service and will always make sure you leave happy.
Hands down, this is the place to go for clear bras and tint!

I feel there is a lot to be said for a business that sells you what you need instead of over selling something you don’t. Cactus window tint was extremely honesty and helped me with the best product for my car. The product also happened to be the least expensive. Cactus was tough to get an appointment, I think it was 9 days from initial contact. The staff was very thorough in explaining the different options, it was very informative and easy to choose the style and kind of film that I wanted. The end product sets them even further apart, my car looks fantastic. I would give them 5 stars for every facet of their business.

I came here due to all the great reviews on Unilocal and was not disappointed at all. Scheduling an appointment with Rick was made very easy and upon meeting with him he definitely will look out for your vehicle and offer you a brief but honest breakdown of the different tint options available. After some thought I eventually settled on the slightly more expensive SunTek option with 80% fronts and 35% rears. As my vehicle is registered in California I did want my window tints to be CA legal.
After around 1.5 to 2 hours my vehicle was all done. I have to say that the new tint job looks great and have had no issues with it after a few weeks of application! The price was very reasonable and I would like to thank Rick and his crew for the tint job on my vehicle.

I decided to use this place of business, based on many positive reviews from Unilocal,and I have to I am very happy to have done so.
Initially I reached out to the email on their website and immediately received a response, no doubt, from the owner Rick. We emailed back and forth — talked prices, choices, budget, and a time to come in.
I came in and Rick was as friendly in person as he was in his emails! No pressure or high sales tactics. Rick gives you the advantages and disadvantages of each product and takes the time to spend it with you explaining everything. Even while he’s meeting with you, he ignores his phone and anything else, dedicating the time especially to you. He’ll even tell you to go home and think about it if you like.
Once you commit to a product, you have the option of waiting in the waiting room which has comfy sofas, water, a TV, bathroom facilities, and coffee and even free wi-​fi.
It’s been many weeks since my product was applied and I couldn’t be more happier and pleased with the extremely courteous and professional service and pricing. Even after the application, I had questions and Rick answered them promptly via email which was the method I chose for communication.
Definitely will be sending many others his way and even the wife!

I just got my windows tinted by Cactus Tint with SunTek Hp ³⁵⁄₁₅ and could not be happier with the service Rick and his crew provided.
When I first stopped in Rick showed me all the tint options available and the pros and cons of each. I went with the least expensive option which is a metallic tint that Rick warned could interfere with AM radio, I have found this not to be the case and get no interference with any electronics.
When I brought my car in for my appointment they had my tint selection saved on there computer and got my car done 30 minutes after their quoted time. The reason they went over was because they had to redo the rear windshield because the installer didn’t think it was up to par. Much better to have it taken care of the first time then waiting to see if id notice it! Waiting was not a big deal as they have comfy couches and a nice TV selection.
I know that in the future if I ever have problems Rick will handle them and he will definitely be my go to tint guy for any future needs. Highly recommended!!!
