History
Established in 2004.
Bredemann & McFarlane was founded in 2004 with the goal of uniting clients with the highest level of knowledge and experience in tax matters. At our firm, every case is handled personally by one of our three firm Attorneys. Richard W. Bredemann, who is both a lawyer and a certified public accountant (CPA), has been practicing law for almost 40 years. Stephen J. McFarlane is a former IRS litigation attorney with an LL.M. degree in tax law, a Master’s Degree in International Management (MBA-Int’l) and also has a background as an international business executive. Lastly, David A. Valenzuela who also has an LL. M master’s degree in tax law.

Business Owner
Stephen J. McFarlane is a tax attorney who practices in the areas of probate, estate administration, estate planning, trusts, wills, and general business transactions, including: business formation of LLCs, partnerships and corporations. He has been associated with large Phoenix firms for the past 10 years and in January 2005, together with his partner Richard W. Bredemann, formed the law firm of Bredemann & McFarlane, PLC.
Mr. McFarlane has achieved several post-graduate degrees emphasizing estate planning, business law, tax law, business management, accounting, finance, and marketing. He holds a Masters Degree from Boston University in Tax Law (LL.M. (Tax)), a Juris Doctorate from the University of Puget Sound (J.D.), and a Masters Degree in International Business Administration from Thunderbird — The International Graduate School of Management (M.B.A.).
