History

Established in 1968.

From 1966 — 1993 Bennie has owned 11 different Barbershops & Salons located in various Smitty’s grocery stores around the Valley. After 27 years & the closing of Smitty’s, Bennie kept on keeping on. In 1993, he opened another barbershop in a Fry’s grocery store and remained there for 6 years. By 1999, Bennie & his fellow barbers packed up and moved locations once more, establishing Bennie’s Back Alley Barbershop. Located on Granite Reef Rd. & McDowell road for the past 16 years and many more to come. As Bennie always says, ’”I’m not going anywhere!“‘
