Atria Park of Sierra Pointe

In recent months, incoming residents are requiring a higher level of care which necessitates the increased presence of Care Givers. The Care Givers are roaming the halls and speaking on cell phones and what appears to be 2 way radios. Last night, my Mom opened her door to find a care giver standing in front of her as is she was going to gain entry with a pass key. My Mom is totally independent and mentally sharp. She was shaken by this event. I am a retired Hospice RN and I am concerned about Mom’s safety and security. My former employer had all employees fingerprinted, drug tested, licensed and bonded. I do not know the vetting of these Care Givers. I do not know if they are Atria employees or contract employees.
