Allstate Appliances is a local, family-​owned and operated business which began in 1970. We focus only on large household appliances. From the sales and ordering through delivery and installation, our personnel have an average of 20 years in this business. Our Scottsdale Showroom has over 7,000 square feet with nine live kitchens, including a Wood Stone hearth oven, and many kitchen vignettes from modern to traditional. All the latest materials and appliances are delightfully showcased, and we offer a variety of live cooking experiences including our weekly Foodie Friday events.

Our PV Design Center is Arizona’s exclusive Bosch-​Thermador-​Gaggenau Gallery, with the latest products from these première German manufacturers beautifully displayed in our living showroom.

History

Established in 1970.

Allstate Appliances is Arizona born and raised. Ernie Goodwin began the business in 1970 when he bought out his partner with an El Camino. Ron has worked in the business since he helped with deliveries when he was 12, buying the ownership mantle along with his sister, Debbie, in 2012. Today, it’s a family enterprise where brother, sister, and sisters-​in-​law work with their extended family, the Allstate staff, to provide quality appliances and outstanding customer service.

Allstate was really helpful in getting me a 36″ commercial style range for our kitchen remodel. I worked with Mike who was really helpful. I needed a dual fuel setup since my residence is totally propane, so they found me one that shipped from the factory with both options. The delivery was smooth, and the truck drivers were friendly and helpful. They didn’t even charge extra to deliver to us way out in the West valley.

My wife and I have been in the market for new appliances for awhile now. We’ve shopped at just about every appliance store in the valley. My experience with one of their sales reps was the best ever. Hands down!!! He answered all the questions I had about every appliance I inquired on. Very knowledgeable! I even asked a number of questions about company itself, and you can tell he’s very proud and happy to work with this group. Super friendly! Very willing to go the extra mile to make sure I had a perfect understanding in how everything worked. He put me at ease and all concerns I had are gone! As far as trusted companies go, after my experience, I know I can trust these guys! I look forward to working with them in the future!

We I walked in I was impressed by the showroom and walked around waiting for somebody to ask if I would like some help. Since I couldn’t find much of what I was looking for I walked back to the only place where I heard voices and looked in that office where a bunch of guys were laughing. At least one saw me but nobody came out to ask if I wanted help. I walked around some more — maybe 12 – 15 minutes in all — and then (more laughing all the while) walked back to the office to ask if there was anyone who could help me. Several minutes later somebody walked out and approached me and I said that u seemed to be interrupting some fun and I walked out

This is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with! Salesmen Brandon and his brother Garon Mchone gave us the bait and switch on every issue. They promised our $ 12,000 appliance package one week after ordering. Two weeks later the wrong appliances showed up at our door. They promised the correct items would arrive in 5 days, but they did not! Half of the order showed
one item was damaged. I was then told they didn’t know where it was or it was on back order.
«Which is it» I asked. They then told me their Frigidaire Rep was out of town for the week. I then called Spencers, on a Saturday, the item was in stock and ready for pick up! I called the manager Mike and told him I found one on my own. He told me he would refund my monies,
but again the bait and switch! No Refund and no refrigerator! I was then told by Garon that there would be No Refund! I have contacted my credit card company and my attorney! How could a company stay in business with such horrible customer service baffles my mind!

Finally finished a financial dispute. Had a bait and switch on an item. It was advertised as having a lot more features than it did. After returning the item and opening a credit card dispute 8 months later is was addressed.

I think two stars is generous. I dealt with Brandon. In store, he was great, gave good advice on a range hoods. I ordered, paid in full. My order was to be in the following Monday or Tuesday. It wasn’t. It was the blame game from there. He blamed the hood company for not shipping. A week delay at first, I had to postpone my contractor. Every time I called and spoke to Brandon, he never knew who I was, and always asked, «was I your salesman»? Seriously?! Your name is on the order! I don’t think the order ever got placed, but no way to say.
I finally got the order two weeks later than originally promised. It was shipped to a central warehouse and we picked it up there, versus having it shipped from central warehouse to Scottsdale store. We didn’t trust any more delays or mess ups, if it got delivered across town.

Allstate provided the appliances for our new home 21 years ago and all but the dishwasher (just replaced it once and it was a manufacturers issue not Allstate’s) are still ticking. They offer a broad range of mid to high-​end home appliances displayed effectively in a well ordered and maintained show room. Their staff is friendly and knowledgable. Furthermore, this family-​owned firm has done a wonderful job in showcasing local chefs and the latest cooking appliances by sponsoring «Foodie Friday» each week. We are currently in the process of making kitchen appliance selections for a new home that is under construction and Allstate has been an important partner in this effort.

Went to Allstate looking for a new washer and dryer. The sales staff was very friendly and not pushy at all even though I told them I was not going to buy that day. I went back twice during that week to look again and be sure it was what I wanted and they were very helpful and knowledgeable on the products. The price of the washer and dryer was cheaper than that of even Home Depot or Lowe’s and also was cheaper for delivery and install. The workers helped to move my old washer and dryer out of the laundry room and install the new ones. I would highly recommend them for anybody else.

Absolutely by far the worst supplier experience that I have had in 10 years of building houses. Completely incompetent sales staff and disconnect with customer communication. I spent over $ 20,000 with this company and all I got was lies and delays. They delivered my appliances on a Friday at 5:00 pm after two calls from me to even see if they were coming that day and they show up with only half my order. 4 weeks later I finally have my appliances but they are missing pieces and not installed properly. I met with Mike Seabrook the sales manager 3 times in his office to try and get my appliances and all I got was more lies and missed deadlines from him. Who has time to go back 3 times after 7 weeks from the time that I paid them in full for my appliances.
Stay far away from this company unless you want major delays and headaches in trying to get your appliances. And when they do show up they will probably be missing pieces and installed wrong.
After Mike telling me over and over how bad the company felt and that he was going to rectify it I asked him for good pricing on two bar fridges. What I got was the same price that his sales associate gave me 7 weeks earlier and the same price I can get them at Spencers for. Needless to say after a completely horrible experience I bought my fridges at Spencers and will never give Allstate any more of my business.
I was told the do over $ 1 million dollars in sales per month, at this rate of current service I doubt that will last for very long.

Do not buy high end appliances from this company. I bought many from them and on one order we had 2 defective Viking appliances where they refused to do anything to help us. They also hung up on my wife and mother in law multiple times that was trying to figure this out. Don’t be swayed by there low prices. It is not always worth it.

These guys are horrible at post-​sale service. I spent a ton on a designer, built-​in refrigerator, dishwasher, range and entire new kitchen + installation from them. They «did the installation», but the dishwasher never worked. I was referred to Bosch who said they can’t warrant this dealer’s work.
During the time I dealt with Allstate, they fired 2 of their salespeople and left me to deal with their horrible store manager. Would recommend online or any place other than AllState Appliance, as the service will be no worse!

What a joke!
I have had better service at just about every other establishment than this place. Saturday Morning at 11:00 one sales person in the entire store that picks and chooses who he will talk to. We stood there waiting our turn to talk to him just to get ignored. Stood right in front of him he still wouldn’t acknowledge us. Real shame as we were going to purchase a refrigerator from this place… So much for that Buy Local! I will go to a distributor that has customer service as this one STINKS oh and this wasn’t the 1st time this has happened…

I am updating my last review with Allstate Appliances. Their reaction to my unhappiness with my dishwasher has been amazing. Diane in their scottsdale location has practically called me everyday to follow up with a solution she found for my European cabinet challenges! I would recommend them whole heartedly!

After looking into different products and packages around town, we finally decided on an LG refrigerator from Allstate Appliances for our family’s vacation home. The staff was knowledgeable and courteous while explaining the differences in all the different options they have available. We were only in town for a short time and their staff was helpful in making sure we had our new refrigerator installed promptly!

Unfortunately, the experience with Allstate Appliances has been very disappointing, time consuming, frustrating and bad! I do not write bad reviews normally but in this case I need to let everybody know not to buy anything from this dealer.
I bought a Subzero wine fridge in mid August and it was delivered and installed in the beginning of September with the wrong front. The front door was 84 inches instead of the ordered 80 inches. The installer, sales rep and sales manager at Allstate have all agreed that they delivered and installed the wrong door.
After endless phone calls, text messages and also visits to the showroom, talking to first the sales rep Ray L and then the sales manager Mike, being promised that they would «take care of it», which they never did, I finally contacted Subzero directly.
Subzero informed me that Allstate Appliances had lost the Subzero dealership contract on September 5. This being absolutely no excuse for how Allstate have treated me as a customer but might be one explanation. I would imagine that the reason they lost the dealership is many complaints similar to mine which you realize when checking reviews for them.

I am sorry to say that this was by far the worst experience I have had dealing with anyone. I have dealt with some horrible used car salesmen before and this appliance place puts them all to shame. They have no common sense what so ever. They delivered a defective refrigerator and had the audacity to want to charge us 25% restocking fee when we requested to exchange it. I am appalled at their business practices and can not fathom how could someone let $ 35k worth of a sales fall through because they do not want to work with the customer and resolve some issues that in my opinion could have easily been rectified. Thanks to them we ended up going to Spencers and saved an additional $ 1200 because they were running a special when you buy a refrigerator, stove-​top, and oven.
