Excellent and prompt Extremely professional. Helped us greatly with an emergency with our 8 yo Lab and then guided us through the euthanasia process with kindness and respect. All handled in the van at our home. Clearly 5 star service.

My dog, Duke, hated going to the vet with a passion. When it came time to put him to sleep I wanted him to go in the comfort of his home. Aaron’s Ark made that possible. Duke was able to feel as safe as possible and I could feel good knowing I did what was best for my little guy. My vet was professional, personal where needed, and did a fabulous job throughout the whole time. He talked me thru it, guided me, sympathized, made my dog comfortable, and exceeded my expectations from other past experiences both at home at at the vet having to do this for other elderly pets. Will do business with again. A extra plus was that my vet asked if he could pray afterwards with me and for me and after obtaining my permission, he said a lovely prayer. I am so thankful for the awesome job Aaron’s Ark provided to my home and Duke. THANK YOU!

We have used Aaron’s Ark Veterinary for many years and have been very satisfied with Dr Townsley’s care. He has provided excellent medical care for our cat both for her annual check-​ups and for an emergency surgery. The house call service is so convenient; in the past, getting the cat into her carrier, hauling her to the vet’s office howling all the way, and waiting in the waiting room with all the other sick cats and dogs was a nightmare for all of us. Dr. Townsley has a great «bedside manner» with our cat, making her as comfortable as possible during her procedures.

Our cat Chilly has asthma and has horrible anxiety if we try to take him anywhere. My husband found this service and I highly recommend them. Our cat is very high strung and Dr. Townsley is truly the cat whisperer. He was able to keep our cat calm while examining him and provided us with a great long term solution for his asthma.

I still do think that Dr. Townsley is an excellent vet, but I have to admit I was very disappointed in the follow-​up, or lack thereof, after the passing of my last two kitties.
His office handled the first euthanasia, but he was out, so a colleague performed it. It didn’t go well as the sedative didn’t work, etc. It was a complete fiasco. I was also told when scheduling that I had to pay cash for the service. Having paid him thousands of dollars for services, I was surprised, especially since I still had one cat that was under his care. I expected Dr. Townsley would contact me personally upon his return to at least acknowledge the loss of his patient, but he did not. After a few days, I called him. He apologized stating cash payment should only be required of new clients. He also told me I may have overpaid and would have his office check into it. I never heard about it again even after leaving a message myself.
I continued care for my second cat. She eventually required euthanasia over a holiday weekend, so I had an emergency service perform it. I did send an email to Dr. Townsley letting him know as he had been closely monitoring her. Neither he nor his office ever responded. Obviously, the most important thing is the quality of care your PET receives. However, common courtesy would dictate at least an «I’m sorry for your loss» reply.
My two new boys are young, so I insist they put their big boy pants on and go to a clinic. However, if stress became an issue, I would perhaps use Aaron’s Ark again.

My cat Sassy (and I) usually have a horrible experience at the vet. She gets so upset that they have to muzzle her as well as wrap her body in a towel so she can’t scratch or bite anyone. I have even been asked by vet techs if she is a feral cat (which she isn’t).
Having just moved to AZ from WI I obviously needed a new vet. I figured why not give a mobile vet a try. It honestly could not be worse then what I was accustomed to.
Dr. Townsley just came to my home this morning and I have been sharing my experience with people all day!!! I think that I am still in shock… not only was he able to fully examine Sassy but there was not one hiss, growl or kick! He really connected with her… took time to let her get to know him and I am convinced that he «spoke» to her. Have you ever watched «My Cat From Hell’? Dr. Townsley communicated with her in a way that reminded me of Jackson Galaxy :) He is more then a vet… he truly has a unique way with animals.
After the exam we sat and talked for about 20 minutes and he answered any questions I had. He is extremely knowledgeable. I believe that his prices are very reasonable. You don’t have to put your pet under all of that unnecessary stress, they come to you. To me, that alone is worth the price. He did mention that he will treat more then one animal in a visit and only charge once for the house call which is great and unheard of! In the past if I brought 2 cats anywhere I got charged for 2 visits.
I am actually shocked at the review that was written 2 days earlier because my experience was 100% opposite. I have already decided that Dr. Townsley is our new vet and will see our other 2 cats as well.
