Business Owner

I was born and raised in Rockford, IL (the home of Cheap Trick and the Rockford Peaches, from the movie «A League Of Their Own»), northwest of Chicago. I moved into Chicago for college, attending North Park University and graduated with a Marketing degree in 2003. My junior year I was hired as a camp counselor at Frontier Ranch, a summer camp operated by Mission Springs Conference and Camping Center in Scotts Valley, CA.

The absolute beauty and character of the area was such a welcome change compared to the cold winters and humid summers of northern Illinois. I was smitten. Upon graduating, I returned to Frontier Ranch for a second summer as a camp counselor and made the permanent move. It was at that time that I began my career in the construction industry, a path that brought me to be an owner, officer, and foreman for the company with which I had started working in 2003, and now, ultimately, leaving that company to launch Lyttle Construction as my own enterprise.
