If I could give this place no stars I would, I experienced the worst feeling I’ve felt in a long time during my visit today. I went to trade in my gaming system and I was instantly looked at and categorized as a thief by the staff. Before I could trade in my product I was told to provide my full name, license information, and even my fingerprint on a document so they could keep track of me. In case I had«stolen» it. This was completely unacceptable and was a clear assumption that me being a minority meant I was a thief. Most people may say, this is just protocol, but a close friend of mine who’s not a minority came to trade his system in about 4 months ago and he did no such thing not even close. I feel sorry that the staff as a whole made a generalization about me and made me feel like a criminal from the start, I understand there are not many minorities in Scott’s Valley but this was a horrible experience, and would suggest that anyone who may«look like a criminal» aka a minority of African American or Latino decent not come here unless they enjoy providing every detail plus a finger print of their information. Side note– I purchased a new system and was not told about purchasing a stand separately, which I really need to put my system in a secure place.

Employees here are great. Tremendously knowledgeable and very helpful. Store has good stock. In one case they didn’t have what I needed and called another store and had a hold put on the piece so I could go pick it up(last one in the area).

Gamestop, your main gaming store to buy new & used games. We go there all the time to get games and other stuff we wanted. My friends here in this Gamestop works there and they know us well. The only minor problem with Gamestop is new rookies that are way too slow to complete people’s order. It happen a few times to me when I want to order in a hurry.

as far as stores go this one is small shopping center style. they don’t have much in the way of Wii games, but the staff is there and available for questions and even suggestions for new games when looking for help. my daughter and I found two new games based on recommendations from one of the guys working there, they turned out to be perfect games for the two of us. I will definitely visit here again

This GS store has always been friendly and helpful, but this week they went above and beyond! I pre-ordered a game for my hubby as a gift but that game wasn’t due in until after his bday, so I asked the clerk for any marketing type flier they might have that I could put in hubby’s bday card. He not only found what appeared to be the last print of the game cover, but he also gave me an empty case so I could wrap it like a real present. Awesome! Thanks, Timothy!!!

Hmm I think my old review got erased, c’mon now Unilocal stop with the you don’t pay and we «randomly» take out reviews, not cool, it also makes it hard for me to promote your service when I talk to owners as they are already upset at you. Anyway this is a great GameStop, I think the old mangers were not so good but it’s definitely good now. I have had nothing but positive experiences on all of my visits as the staff is very cool and knowledgeable. Don’t be scurred! ;)

This is an excellent place to go if you want service from condescending, upsell-aggressive, holier than thou jerks. I’ve been going to this place for about a year and a half for the odd game purchase. No more. I’m done. The employees here are unbearable. They are unfriendly and patronizing. Every time I go into this store, I feel like an unwelcome intruder. I know Gamestop trains its employees to be pretty aggressive when it comes to selling preorders and extras, but this place is RIDICULOUS. When I go here for a simple purchase, I have to routinely say«no» to 4 – 5 things: «No, I don’t want to pre-order Assassin’s Creed 6…» «No, I don’t want to become a member of your rewards program…» «Yes, I’m sure…» «YES, I’M SURE!» «No, I don’t want a flier for a game that I can find information about online…» «No, I don’t want a strategy guide for the game…» On and on it goes. When you say«no» to these things they look at you like you’re an idiot for not taking advantage of their amazing services. Here’s some news for you Gamestop: I came into your store to buy a game. That’s it. Stop making me feel like a jerk for not spending more money. I already spend perhaps 300 – 400 bucks a year on games. That’s quite enough for me. From now on, I’m taking my business elsewhere. Even if it means more travel time. Even if it means going to the crappy K-Mart across the street.

Tiny store but good helpful employees. There is one girl that works most days and she is super helpful and a guy that opens on Sunday mornings who is also cool and friendly. I take my sons there to purchase their games and I let my boys ask the questions they want answered, and though they are kids, the staff there has always treated them as a customer and offered opinions and were overall very helpful!

Gamestop is a little pricey but other than that I enjoyed the service. The employees are younger and play the games they sell so you can really ask for opinions on specific titles.

Times have changed! I was in the area and decided to grab a few games… BIG mistake. I couldn’t stay in the store for more than 5 minutes because ALL the employees were belly aching very loudly about having to actually work and how much working really sucked and how tired and hungover they were. WHINE, WHINE, WHINE. I put the games back and left. Where did Teagan go!!!

So we’ve shopped here before and it’s been fine but tonight we got Melissa as a sales clerk and she was so freaking rude when we declined both memberships and would not let it go, escalating our frustration by being insulting! If you don’t want a membership with GameStop and prefer to avoid insult, wait for another associate.
