Kansas Fossil Museum, Art Gallery, and a great gift shop!

History

Established in 1991.

We were asked by visitors to open our art gallery and later decided to add our fossils to the mix. Keystone Gallery is one of the only remaining limestone buildings in Logan County, Kansas and we are between Monument Rocks and Lake Scott State Park.

Since our inception, we’ve had visitors from all over. Stop by and visit. You will be surprised!

If you’re into fossils, this is a five star. For everyone else, some cool looks as serious fossils, local murals, and friendly folk. I also scored a classic Brownie camera her for 5 bucks!
Chuck and Barbra are knowledgeable, and are connected in the fossil world all over. They’ve lectured across the U.S., and have friends in serious places, like at New York’s Museum of Natural History.
I mostly enjoyed the conversation, and when Chuck explained some of the fossils and murals, I appreciated them much more than I would have otherwise.
