My wife and I have used them not only for emergency visits, but also have started to bring our furry brood there for regular check ups. We have found the staff very nice, and very caring! Especially with one of our older cats with a slight congestion issue, they took very good care, treated her so well, checked her thoroughly, and even said she could eat anything she wanted! And they are there for you 7 days a week, and even call you for follow ups, check them out!

Dr. Wayne is terrible… he only cares about his wallet. He’s turned away a Beagle once that was found hit by a car and suffering because the finder and no one could pay him right away and use to charge the local shelter 3 times what he should have, just to provide rabies vaccinations. (every other Vet charged the shelter 10 dollars… Dr. Wayne charged $ 25!)
He’s a crook.

If you love your pets don’t take them here. Dr. Wayne doesn’t care anymore, all he cares about is his ego and his pockets.

I feel sick this place has a five star review. What is WRONG with you people? Anyone who goes here clearly doesn’t care about their pet or are VERY uneducated.
My 7 year old tabby cat Kero had kidney failure. He stopped eating and drinking, was in pain and lost 15 pounds in only a week. We took him to this vet since it was an EMERGENCY.
Not only did the vet have the nerve to instantly charge us over 400 dollars (that did not include treatment) but even had the nerve to tell us, and I quote «He’s not sick enough to be put down» NOT SICK ENOUGH!!!
He was EMACIATED and dehydrated and having SEIZURES! And there’s MORE! This vet didn’t even tell us himself, he sent a nurse in to tell us, while he hid in the back.
Kero had kidney failure and the vet confirmed this. KIDNEY failure and said he was Not Sick enough. Are you KIDDING me?!
We could NOT afford over 400 dollars that day since it was an emergency. We would be able to pay this vet within just 5 days, since we would have the money by then.
But nope, this heartless vet would not even humanely put Kero down just because he didn’t have half a thousand dollars up front.
And I respect vets need to be paid, but there was NO compassion for my cat at this vet. ZERO.
I cannot believe some of these other reviewers are calling him caring. He is only caring if you are rich. If not, then screw you and you’re dying pet.
So he sent my cat home, and just 3 days later Kero died at HOME after having a seizure and falling off of my bed.
If that wasn’t enough, a friend of mine told me when she took her dog their, the vet actually held the dog RANSOM because they did not have the money to pay for the overnight boarding fees, that they were NOT aware of since the vet did not tell them.
And there’s even more, a neighbor of mine said when he spayed her cat, he did it wrong and the cat was half AWAKE during the surgery.
This vet is HEARTLESS, only cares about the money in your pocket, has no problem sending an animal home to die. And you want proof that his prices are out of control? I recently discovered Broadheadsville vet, they charged me 164 dollars total for a exam, office visit, X ray and Bloodwork for my other cat. Let that sink in.
I’m sick at heart anyone takes their animal here. Pets are our FAMILY, and this is the worst place you could take them, next to Pocono Lake and Creature Comforts.
If you love your pet, take them to Broadheadsville, NOT this hell hole.
And I’d like to know the heartless person who rated this review as «Funny» nothing is FUNNY about my cat falling off of my bed from a seizure and dying because this heartless vet refused to see/​treat him!

Absolutely love this vet!!! The Poconos is our second home. My rescue pup that we’ve only had 2 ½ weeks was having some skin issues. I couldn’t get an appointment with our home vet until Tuesday so I called a couple different vets up here. I was able to get an appointment with Dr. Wayne. I am so glad I met this staff! Dr. Wayne and his staff were so awesome! !! They spent the first 5 minutes bonding with my dog! They did a thorough exam. They were able to run tests and get the results in house. So she was able to receive the proper medication for the diagnosis. Our appointment was Saturday, today Tuesday the office just called to check up on her! To me this is amazing! My local vet I used for a previous pet sometimes didn’t even return a phone call let alone call to check up on my pet. I am so thrilled to have found this vet even tho they are 2 hours away from my primary home. I will make the trip to have my dog see this vet each time we need a vet. I highly recommend this vet!!!

EXCELLENT Experience! Dr. Wayne and his Staff were Kind, Caring, Professional & Helpful. First time visit for our new rescue kitty. All of our questions were answered, & were even given suggestions on care! The Doc & his staff put us at ease & explained things thoroughly. They spent hours with him until he was better. Dr. Wayne gave a full exam while the techs cared for Kitty. Very impressed with this practice! The price was spot on. i did Not feel taken advantage of as I read on other reviews. They even gave a follow up phone call to ensure all was well. WOW! I don’t even get that from my family doctor. Happy to find a Caring & Professional practice. A+
