A-​1 Basement Solutions was founded on the principle of service. We offer a wide array of services for you basement issues. As the name states; A-​1 Basement SOLUTIONS, because we offer more than one solution.

We are a ‘One Stop Shop’ because we take care of all the details, so you don’t have to. From patching a small crack in the basement wall to refinishing a basement we do it all.

Doug Lynch is from Westfield, NJ where he lives with his wife Kelli and their dogs Sammy and Angie. He is the owner of A-​1 Basement Solutions in Scotch Plains. Doug has been in the basement waterproofing business for 12 years and takes pride in helping people have a dry and healthy basement. Doug is a member of the Fanwood/​Scotch Plains Rotary Club and is an active member of B.N.I. in Westfield. Mr. Lynch is the author of «basements 101, everything you need to know about your basement» as well as the popular Basement School Blog and Helpful Hints for Homeowners Column on TheAl​ter​na​tive​Press​.com.
