This place is pretty big. It was just the 3 of us, came here on a Sunday night at 8:00pm. It was a full house, had to wait an hour for a lane. They have a bar and a counter that served food, so you can eat/drink while waiting. We played 2 games, had fun, but wanted out, too crowded. We got lost driving here, this place is hard to find.

Came here tonight for a family outing and called ahead since getting on base is much more strict than 15 years ago. Before you head out to Schofield make sure you(the driver) have a current driver’s license, car registration, and insurance card. All other passengers over 16 must present a valid picture ID as well. All visitors must enter through Lyman Gate and will be directed to a vehicle search area. Be prepared to step out of your vehicle and open the hood and truck. It’s a quick process during the off times. Getting to the alley is really simple from the gate. Seniors(55 and older) and Jr(under 18) bowl for $ 2.25. It’s $ 3.00 for adults during non cosmic times. Cosmic bowling is $ 3.75. I believe rental shoes were $ 2.00 per pair. I love bowling at Schofield as it was my favorite alley for tournaments. I’m not a big fan of cosmic bowling but it is nice to have when you live in the central part of the island.

This review is for the snack bar. The staff seems totally lost and doesn’t seem very concerned with the customers. I really don’t like having to wait more than a minute to be acknowledged. You could at least say«I’ll be right with you».

Its a good bowling alley. Been coming there for years but the snack shop needs to be better. There service is slow and just today my friend had a turkey melt and half way thru we found A DEADROACH. Yes a Roach. So just some heads up. Health inspector should change that sign to fail.

This place has a good staff, clean environment, good lanes. lanes and machines are well maintained. The drawbacks of this place are the snack bar and the pro shop. The snack bar, the lines and the wait can be long. The pro shop, consistent hours on the weekends(9:00am to 5:00pm Sat-Sun), there’s no telling when the pro shop is open on the weekdays, hours are posted, but often is not followed. I haven’t eaten from the snack bar enough to make a rating on the food.

I really love their food! Nice and clean and friendly service! I always wanna eat everything on the menu lol! Love it. Just had the chili cheese and nacho supreme. Now I wanna eat the curly fries, garlic fries, mozeralla cheese sticks, loco moco, burger, and wings lol! Imma most likely buy more after the cheese fries and nachos!

This place is ok… The front counter staff was very helpful. It’s always busy on a Friday or Saturday night, so I plan on coming early next time. The restaurant is always crowded and take awhile to get your food and it’s bowl alley food! They have a bar with limited selection of beer on tap, and it’s definitely cheaper to get a pitcher than a single pint of beer! We had 8 people and got a single lane with about 15 min wait, so I’d say not bad. The cost if way cheaper that out in town. We’ll be back!

To be honest i never had horrible service until tonight. The lady there i believe her name is sydney. She is a young caucasian lady. We got there at 7 something and she was getting mad because we had a party of 13. She kept repeating her self that they close at 9 and once its 9 shes out. She kept rushing us while we was going to pay. Shes like its $ 50 so all you guys just gather your money so its faster. Were like not everybodys here and shes like ohh ok. Im like wth like don’t be trying to rush us and stuff just because you like go home at 9. Later she called us assholes and she told this other lady that dont worry i like you guys just not them and pointing to us. Im guessing she just dosnt care about customer service because if she did she would of been nicer instead of being rude and disrespectful. I just hope other people does not go there when she is working especially if shes closing.

We wanted to go bowling so we decided to come here because Aiea is waaaaaay to crowded. First of all, it was very easy to get on base. Went through the main gate, gave our ID’s and got passes. DONE. We went on a Saturday which cosmic bowling I believe starts at 6pm. It took us about 15 minutes to get our lanes but after that it was really fun! PROs –lots of lanes –not that crowded –cost for cosmic bowling $ 3.75 per game(civilian price) –food is pretty good –music was good CONs –it’s far away if you live in town –not many seats in the bowling area After we were done I was like, why don’t we do this more often. LOL! It’s a fun, cheap thing to do with your friends.

This bowling center is just okay in my book. They have plenty of lanes, the staff is friendly(usually very slow) and they have the bumpers that go up and down in case I am bowling with my kids. The things I do not like are they seem to know the league bowlers and put them on the lanes that seemed to be nicer(greased up, wood in front of the lane is nice, lights are not burned out) all others get lanes that are in not very good condition. The other complaint is the snack bar food. It always tastes odd to me. I have ordered different items and some taste stale and others taste like it was cooked in week old grease. The military should invest some money in fixing it up a little.

Everyone here is so friendly! The staff is kind of slow, but that is something you get used to in hawaii. Everything is very clean & the food is okay. Our daughter really enjoys the cosmic bowling which is where they turn out all the lights, have glow lights, black lights & super loud dancing music. It starts at 6(at home it starts at 11) and is only a few dollars extra. They have bumpers you can put up & ramps to help her. They don’t have a very good children’s balls though, they need lighter ones!

Well I will make this short and to the point. If you love some great greasy food them this place is real good but bowling wise not the best Staff was nice but very slow, lanes were eh ok and the beer was watered down. But since there are no a lot if opinions here in my area this place will do.

First of all, there ain’t even very many bowling alleys, so how can you really put one down. What do you want it to do, close? Pluses: It is close to my house and, on Sunday nights(when we usually go), there isn’t traffic. There is always available mega touch machines, parking, lanes, balls, shoes, and ramps(for the 5 year old). Prices, as far as I know, are reasonable. No outrageous swearing, intoxication, etc. being that it is on the Military base. Finger foods, i.e. garlic french fries, chicken wings, are heavenly pieces of grease that are not greasy.(How the hello? I wish I knew.) Not too sure about the prices. Minuses: I am not a competitive bowler, so I’m not really that picky. Nothing to insert here.

We have done a team bonding here at this particular bowling alley for about 4 years now. Our students love it. The teachers love it. It’s great. Normally. Yesterday, however, was a horrible experience. Luckily, our team this year is smaller than usual. We only have 110 students versus the normal 125. Our students paid for two games and shoes. When we arrived at 8:55, the bowling alley wasn’t yet opened, and people were waiting outside. When they opened at 9 am, they weren’t ready for us at all. We had to send our students to their lanes and then send them lane by lane for their shoes. That took over a half hour, with the janitor helping the lone counter worker. The whole time, the students were waiting. They weren’t even allowed to start punching their names into the computer. Can you imagine having 11012 – 13 year olds with nothing to do? Horrible. After everyone got their shoes, the worker allowed the students to put the names in the computer. In the past, they allowed us to help with the shoes. Everything was expedited. They allowed the teachers to make announcements on the microphone. This time, we had to tell her what we wanted to say… and when that happens, something always gets lost in translation. In the past, they could tally the bill easily and quickly. When our teacher went up to take care of the bill this time, the worker wasn’t able to total the bill… even with the calculator. And she shut down the lanes our students were on when they weren’t even done bowling their second game. She was flustered and grumpy. We’d heard it was her first day on the job alone. I’m sorry for that, but really, there needed to be some sort of preparation on the bowling center’s part. Perhaps they should have added another worker for the morning. Or perhaps they should have scheduled someone more experienced. Although we’ll come here again, we will hope that this same worker is not here.
