Eclipse Lounge & Sushi Bar

Sushi isn’t good, bartenders had to google how to make any drink I ordered with more than two ingredients. I tried to stick with Captain and Coke the pop they used was flat and disgusting so I decided to just drink beer they ran out of the beer I was ordering and were left with only two other choices.

We had our first visit here at a time that any bar should have clientele but we were the only ones there. It is pseudo fancy inside and they actually did a decent job with the décor, if not a little heavy on the «Claire’s Boutique» look. They had Pandora or something playing and the music was not bad but who wants to hear commercials? At least pay for the subscription! They claim to be a sushi lounge but we saw no evidence of food. When we paid for our 2 bottles of beer, which was ridiculously 5 dollars each in Schiller Park, the bartender took $ 15 and didn’t bring any change. Assuming change is your tip is a big no no which is the main reason we promptly left and won’t be back. Too bad though, someone really put a lot of effort to make this a nice place but it is clear why people don’t go in. Plus it looks like a sleazy sex motel from the outside. I guess black fabric covering the windows could do that.

We arrived for my 21^st earlier than opening not realizing that they weren’t open yet. Explaining the situation the manager openly invited us in and served us drinks and gave us each a free shot while staying with us and making sure we were happy. The decorations are amazing and the place looks incredible. The stay couldn’t be any nicer. Even though they were busy opening for the day they made sure that we were happy.

I like this place. It is close by my home and has a pretty good vibe. The cocktails are awesome, decent sushi, and an outdoor patio for the summer. If you are close by O’hare I would recommend stopping by for a drink.

This place is beautiful! It has a very European style to it which you don’t see every day and that’s what makes it so refreshing! They have an amazing sushi selection and chef as well. I give it two thumbs up!

I held my husband’s surprise birthday party at Eclipse about 2 months ago and IT WAS A SUCCESS. We had bottle service for a party of 15 people in the VIP section by the DJ booth where the staff had placed over 10 birthday balloons above our table. I didn’t ask for it but it was a great idea and gesture from their side. The music was awesome and we loved the DJ mixing it up for everyone to enjoy dancing.
The place looks luxurious inside (i love the crystals on the walls), it’s clean and spacious enough for everyone to dance.
I love this place… I think it’s perfect for any celebration… birthday parties, bachelor/​ette parties, girls/​guys night out… or…just because you want to go out and have a great time.
I will definitely book my next party at Eclipse because I am very pleased with the way they handled my first one there… but first… girls night out this weekend and sushi on Wednesday! I gotta check out their sushi.
I heard their Chef makes the best variety of sushi.
