Beyond Cake

Horrible Horrible! Mom ordered a belly cake from here.150.00 it was a pretty cake. We were so excited to cut into it. When we did we were sadly disappointed. the Vanillia cake was RAW. The owner stated it looked that way because of sour cream. we tasted it and it was HORRIBLE. The owner threw it away and offered a cupcake for compensation. We have many bakers in the family and the cakes they make NEVER look like that. It is a shame too that they would not refund the money. We will NEVER use this company again!

it was a three tier cake. the cake was pretty to look at but the bottom cake to me tasted and look like it was not cook all the way, the middle was ok. the edges around the cake was not done the taste was more like a three leches cake too mushy and wet. disappointed ruin our sweet sixteen party

There was more icing than cake. It was a very overwhelming amount of icing, i could not enjoy the cake. I payed for icing pretty much. Not worth the money.

These folks are amazing. I ordered a birthday cake for my daughter. She is a huge fan of the Octonots. I asked if they could decorate her cake like one of his book covers. They knocked it out of the park! Daughter was absolutely thrilled. And this was the most delicious birthday cake I’ve ever tasted. We got chocolate cake with raspberry filling and Mexican vanilla buttercream. We will definitely be back!

THEY OFFER GLUTEN FREE! Had my wedding cake made here! They were so wonderful to help me figure out what design I wanted! When we were there for taste testing I mentioned that my (then) fiancé and I loved making apple cupcakes and she walked over to the cupcake area and gave me a sample of their caramel apple cupcakes! They did a free delivery on my wedding day and were even early! The day before I asked if they could add some gluten free cupcake versions of my cake to the order and deliver those as well for my sister with celiac disease and they were very accommadating! I would definitely recommend them!

I had my wedding cake made here it was very last minute, but the girls really came through and made the most gorgeous cake I could imagine! It was super delicious as well. Leslie is a genius at her craft and so sweet. This place is definitely a must for any occasion or simply needing to satisfy that sweet tooth.

They have done each birthday for my kids ! Every time the cakes look great and are delicious! We look forward to every birthday party coming up with a awesome cake idea. Every birthday party guests are amazed with the cake! They are great!

I don’t even think they deserve that one star. We had them make a pirate cake for our sons birthday the design ok the cake was ok. I really believe with some practice we could have done the same thing. When you pay 100 dollars on a cake I think there should be some expectations of decent taste. What we got was something a bit different. The cake itself tasted like cornbread. I thought something was wrong with me until another guest came up and mentioned to me that it tasted like Marie calendars corn bread. The icing was without flavor. It was so bad the kids at the party didn’t want to eat it. On a positive note they ate a lot of fruit. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone ever. I can guarantee we will never go back unless the start making some great beans to go with their cornbread.
After the whole cornbread thing they made us a second cake and this one didn’t taste like cornbread the cake was super moist the icing was good but maybe a bit too much the cake looked good I would definatly try them again

All I can say is cupcakes… Tastless and overpriced. Dry cake, dry tastless frosting. I was embarassed I brought them for a client. Better cupcakes at the grocery store. Maybe it was an off day but I wont risk it again.

I recently attended an event that they had and the cupcakes were great! Also, the day before, I did get to try their cookies and brownies. I gobbled them down! So good! I also worked with them as a vendor at their special event and they were so great to work with. Flexible, welcoming, professional… great staff! Enjoyed working with them and enjoyed eating their baked goods even more! Hehe. :)

My maid of honor got these gals to do me right for my bachelorette bash!
I didn’t actually deal with them or pay for anything-​but I ate and enjoyed!
She got them to make me several-​er-​suggestively shaped chocolate chip cookies AND they were gluten free to boot! They were fantastic. Chewey, soft sweet!
She also got me a special gift of four cupcakes with my favorite animal decorated with molded fondant –octupuses! The fondant is also the best I’ve had in a while, but i didn’t care too much for the cake.
So if you’re having a bachelorette party and need to munch on some delicious gluten free penis cookies, call these ladies!

I will rate them 3 because they were awesome enough to do a maple baconator cupcake, but my husband will have to be the judge of it’s flavor since that cupcake is for him.
I had the luscious lemon, and honestly it wasn’t that luscious… I’ve had better. Way better. I’m on Weight Watchers, so my first thought after finishing my cupcake was not «that was sooo worth my allowance points» but rather «I used allowance points on that?»
I’m not saying don’t try this place out because they may have some amazing flavors that I haven’t tried yet… and maybe will make anyone forget about one bland cupcake enough to give it a 5, but so far this is where I’m at…

I will post my extensive review pending the outcome of ongoing litigation… this is a no go place. Bad quality of product, even worse customer service… I am disgusted with this place and how they treat paying customers.
