Purpose By Design Salon And Day Spa

If I could give it a 0 I would… I tried to book my Groupon back in October 2013, but they said they «were booked up» until December. So, I booked my massage & facial for December 12^th. The day of, after I had changed my work schedule and was on the way to the appointment, they called to say they had to cancel! I told them that I was going out of town the following week until January. They then ‘immediately’ had an availability for that Saturday, the 14^th. However, the morning of… AGAIN, they canceled on me. I explained that my Groupon was going to be expiring in December, and they said they would «definitely be calling me after the first of the year to honor and book my massage/facial»…well, here it is, 4 months later, NO CALL, NO ANYTHING. When I try to call them, the number will not work. I wouldn’t recommend ANYONE going to this «facility»…very unprofessional, and now I am out $ 35 with nothing to show for it.

I purchased a Groupon for this place and they have the absolutely worst customer service that I’ve experienced in quite a while! I called several times and left several messages trying to make an appointment. And when they finally decided to grace me with a phone call, I was told that they wouldn’t be honoring the Groupon that they were offering! What type of service is that??? I will NEVER go to this spa and I recommend anybody looking for a spa in the area to look somewhere else because this is horrible business practice! I wonder how they stay in business! Ugh!

What a joke this place is!
I purchased a Journey 5 hour spa treatment on Groupon and I spent weeks calling to try and schedule my appointment. No one ever picks up the phone.
So, you pull up to thois run down location thinking you are going to get mugged. There is no sign saying that this is where you need to go, not helpful.
I arrived for my 10 am appointment and no one was there. We waited 15 minutes to be taken back and another 15 minutes for them to prepare the rooms.
After my mani and pedi, I had to wait 40 – 45 minutes in the freezing room by myself. Seriously? Is this part of the 5 hour spa experience?
An hour and a half is all it took for the remainder of the services which included:
Hydrotherapy steam bath detoxifies the body and stimulates blood circulation (a $ 25 value) This took seven minutes where they put this tent looking thing on you and steam you.
Herbal massage blends Swedish massage techniques with choice of aromatherapy scent (a $ 60 value) This was actually nice but I kept telling her to go hard but she never did.
Soft pack exfoliates the skin with herbal scrub and steam (a $ 35 value) They put scrub on your body and remove it with a towel, 10 minutes.
Facial includes skin analysis, extractions, and mask (a $ 65 value) Quick mask put on then removed.
Aave your money, this place is a rip-​off!
