We drove all the way down from the Northside of Chicago in a snow storm to see a specific RV on the lot only to discover a VERY small sign on the door stating the company was closed for the holidays until January 2^nd. This was not stated on their website, answering service or email away message. My husband had emailed them way before the holidays, called them several times and researched their company/​products online. No indicator of the closure. Nothing. We were ready to buy off the lot that day and went home empty handed. I guess we were naïve to assume they would be open on a regular business day given the radio silence. Poor business practice.

Got my first tow behind camper from here. Got it for a great price.
Recently checked my spare tire and realized it did not match the tire size on the trailer. The manager is exchanging for the correct size.

We recently purchased a Keystone Residence trailer from Petes in Indiana. We are located in Northern California. First, we saved over $ 10,000 by doing so. We were a little concerned… Maybe it was a risk and of course the local dealers all trying to discourage us from buying anything online. It’s probably one of the largest purchases we ever made online and I have to say we have no regrets. There was a little glitch in bringing the trailer from Indiana to our location… A window blew out along transit. However, the owners of Pete’s got directly involved, jumped all over it and got it resolved… The trailer was delivered a few days late but no worse for wear. All of the people we worked with there were highly professional. It wasn’t an easy problem to solve and they actually we’re able to fix the problem without having to wait for parts from the manufacturer. Pretty darn cool. Finally, two more things. First, the driver they hired to deliver the trailer, Ben Hodges out of Fairfield, was absolutely the most professional driver we’ve ever dealt with. We will for sure use him in the for future and I have recommended him to Pete’s. Finally, the Keystone trailer is awesome… We are very happy with the purchase and would do it again in a heartbeat. The only reason I am doing for stars instead of five is because I almost never give five… I guess I save that for people who actually save my life or something!

We were looking for a new RV travel trailer. We looked online and thought we knew what we wanted. We visited Petes RV and found their sales staff was at the Louisville show, however Amber –one of the office ladies offered to open up both trailers we were interested in, but because the power pack was not working could not extend the slides. We looked at both units and decided we probably wanted a larger unit. Amber gave us some literature and we went home to look it over. Knowing Petes was our closest dealer we wrote an e-​mail to Paul asking him to contact us the following Tuesday when they returned because their website showed they had a new unit in stock of a larger model. I waited all day and finally called the store 15 minutes before they closed to find out if they did have the unit. I found that Paul had assigned us to the Assisstant Sales Manager Scott and he was gone for the day. Apparently they called him and he called me back about 45 minutes later and did not have enough information and said he would call me the next morning. I called their dealership @12:15 and spoke with Scott, he still did not have the information and said he would call back. 2 hours later he called and said they had a used unit we could look at because the floorplan was exactly the same. We drove back to Petes and liked the floorplan. I asked for their BEST PRICE with all we extras wanted/​needed and explained we were going to the Ft Wayne show on Thursday. Scott provided his BEST PRICE and we left. We purchased a unit at the Ft Wayne show for less than Petes RV best price, and not just a couple bucks, more than $ 500.00. Scott called on Friday and I told him we got a better price and we already gave the dealer a deposit. He was pleasant but disappointed and we ended the conversation. Case closed, right? Not hardly… About 30 minutes later I get a call from Paul M the Sales Manager telling me he cannot believe I would buy from a dealer further away after all Petes RV has done for me. Please re read how I had to pursue them. And said I should call the dealer and cancel my order with them and give Pete’s the business. I explained my reasons and his pricing and he saying he deserved more money because he is the closest dealer. Then he told me in no uncertain terms that if I ever bring my trailer to him for warranty work I will be at the back of the line because his customers will always be first regardless of how long I have waited. I WILL NOT do business with Petes 2 stars given because of Amber.

Very happy with sales and service. Great price and easy to deal with. Service department cleaned up camper wonderfully before we came back to pick it up. Great job.

Great people to buy an RV from. Did everything over the phone and internet and everything was just as stated. Price was a major factor in our deciding to buy from them. Our local dealer was $ 6000 higher than Pete’s. Highly recommend. Also, service since the sale has been phenomenal. We’ve been on the road and needed some warranty work done and the service department has arranged for service work at places along our route. Top notch.

The entire staff was very helpful. Our salesperson, Scott, was very knowledgeable and patient. He answered all of our questions and worked within our budget and weight restrictions. We could not have asked for better service. I would recommend anyone shopping for an RV to start here.
