Ordered a meat lovers 12 cut pizza for delivery. When the pizza arrived half the toppings had slid off the pizza. I promptly called Ruggiero’s and the person who answered replied with an attitude that he would replace it but I had to return the first pizza delivered. I was okay with that. Looking at my receipt I realized that it had 8 cut pizza on it so I went to the pizza and checked and again I called and told Ruggiero’s that they also sent me an 8 cut instead of a 12 cut. The first guy was pleasant but then I received another call and the guy told me that I was not going to get a 12 cut because he had already made me a 8 cut. I replied that my original order was for a 12 cut the guy made a mistake. The pizza guy then replied that if I wanted a 12 cut pizza delivered I would have to pay 5 dollars more. WTF! I’m the customer they made the mistake and I have to pay for it. This is unbelievable! This is the worst customer service I’ve every experience. Beware I don’t know if the pizza is good but the customer service is horrible.

These guys used to be the best. A little higher priced than competitors, but with the«old» Ruggierios it didn’t matter. Once the owner retired things slowly went downhill. Don’t get me wrong they still have a lot to offer. BUT: Not the«Overstuffed Reuben Sub.» More like UNDERSTUFFED! Stick to what you do best. Their pizza, salads, Italian subs would get a different rating. This is solely for the Under Stuffed Reuben. The Sauerkraut and Russian dressing was scarce and more pastrami would have made it worth the price. The taste was good. Bang for buck, poor.

Ordered a 24 cut and 40 wings off of there website menu. When I went to pick it up, the price was around $ 10.00 more than calculated from their website. When I asked the girl about this, she said«we raised our wing prices 3 weeks ago but haven’t changed it on the website.» I told her how this was poor customer service but she showed no interest at all. For me… it’s all about customer service!

Great food! We take out dinner after our work day frequently and are never disapointed. One thing I noticed, our dinners are always nice and warm by the time we get home. even if we are late picking it up!

Best pizza and blue cheese I’ve ever had! I’ve never had poor customer service when I’ve been — typical pizza place staffing I’d say. Truly delicious pizza and if you like dipping in blue cheese — you won’t be able to get enough!

I have tried many different dishes. I would like to give them 5 stars but… I don’t care about attitude, only results as I only do take-out. They do use top notch ingredients but miss it all on the details. Last dish was a sausage, pepper, mushroom calzone. The calzones are brought from the back in a pizza box that won’t close. The girl says it won’t stay closed because they put all 3 in there and the lid keeps popping open, «is that OK» I just glared at her. She then asks if I would like her to tape it shut. They were good, cooked properly but. the ingredients were put in bunches, not spread out or mixed. The ricotta they use is fantastic but. There was a bunch of olives, a bunch of shrooms, a bunch of sausage, a bunch of mozz and a bunch of riccotta in the calzone. It was as if they wanted the toppings segmented within the calzone. 5 extra seconds to spread/mix them out would have made all the difference. Details people. Clean everything regularly, mop your floors regularly and take a few seconds to make sure the ingredients are put on right. Your ratings will improve.

Quite frankly I’m shocked that this place is rated so low… This is my go to for subs when I am in town! I’ve never had anything else besides the subs so this review is just for them! I always call my order in because it does take some time whenever I just drop in but I don’t mind because they people here are always nice. I love the bread they use it had a wonderful slight crunch on the outside yet is soft and fluffy in the middle. I always get the roast beef, I enjoy mine on the rare side and theirs is perfect, and they do Not skimp on the meat! The subs are pretty large too, I have to save half to eat for later! My husband loves the turkey, it moist and flavorful never dry! The prices are reasonable too! Specially for how much sub you get!

Great place to get a bite to eat. Best pizza in the area and their sandwiches are great. They are always busy. Dining room is small but I usually take mine to go anyways. I don’t like the $ 10.00 minimum on charge cards though.

Once again, I decided to venture to a nearby restaurant during a trip to the laundromat. I decided to check out Ruggiero’s for a quick slice of pizza. Let’s just say that I’ve had better. Service was rather slow, to the point where there was a line of customers and no one behind the counter willing to help. I had ordered a couple of slices of pizza, which the staff left out too long in the oven due to the line of customers. Therefore, the pizza was a little too burnt and not terribly edible. I have second thoughts about giving this place a second try.

4 stars are given for the mere fact that they have the BEST chicken parm sub I have ever had in my life! Not a pleasant atmosphere and staff are not really warm and fuzzy but if you are just grabbing food to go then get the chic parm sub and run!

I guess this town doesn’t have a board of health. This place was so dirty it looked like sandwich crime scene. As I walked in to the place for lunch we didn’t know if the place was open. The open sign was turned off and the slicer jockey treated us with all the warmth of a S.S. prison camp guard. She tried to combine my order with a total stranger. luck would have it the other guy walked out due to her warmth of service. I have no idea why the locals haven took to the streets and closed this place down. The food sucked. Boars head should pull there products to keep from tarnishing there good name. Please hold the attitude with my crappy sandwich I just would like to know if the owners get paid for hiring these fresh from prison employees, and pay them a bonus for each person they insult.

If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. The HORRIBLE experience began the moment I walked in the door, when the staff looked at me like I just broke into their home. «Are you buying something?», «Are you here to pick something up or what?». After brushing that aside — I was told it would be 30 to 40 minutes to make a grilled chicken sandwich and was told a few times, «Your sandwich is going to take at least 30 to 40 minutes because our fryer is being used right now». Not sure — but I have never used a fryer to grill chicken. So after I decided I didn’t want the grilled sandwich via deep fryer — I made another order and sat to wait. When I was sitting down, I started to realize how dirty the place was — the floor is a mess, the counters are dirty and had finger prints and hand marks all over them, some of the staff was using their bare hands to cut other peoples food. Not a very clean place to eat. «Updated on 11÷20÷12» I decided to update this review after the«Filtered» responce the owner of the business obviously posted. The owner clearly did NOT read my review when they posted«anyone with a brain would know that grilled chicken isn’t made in a deep fryer» that was 100% my point, I ordered GRILLED chicken and was told that I would have to wait because the fryer is in use LOL. And the other comment«I would suggest not going to a pizzeria or deli on one of the busiest days of the year. «clearly reflects that they are understaffed, I was the only person in the place ordering food and was treated poorly. I was eager to try this place out one more time to see if they were simply having a bad day, but after reading other reviews its obvious this is just how they run their business. Best of luck Ruggiero’s!

Horrible attitudes. I’ve never experienced such rude service. Not worth being talked down to like that. Ive read all their other reviews and they all complain of the rude service. Its amazing that they are still in business. The salad that I bought is terrible, it’s just shredded lettuce. The food isnt great. Don’t waste your money there are 2 other delis nearby.

Ruggiero’s is a pretty decent place. I stopped here for a quick lunch today and got some pizza. I’ll be honest: I really don’t have much to say about the place, good or bad. Nothing really stood out as great or noteworthy. All I can say is that it was good enough and I’d go back again if I was in the mood. It’s a relatively small space. They have RC Cola(oooh), so that’s cool. Every now and then I have a bizarre craving for RC. They take credit cards, but the minimum charge is $ 10. I found that to be kind of annoying, especially these days when so many people(including myself) rarely carry any cash on them. Next time I go there, I’ll try one of their subs and update my review.
